We frequently visit Ludington, and a trip is not complete without a few trips to Stearns Park. Between the amenities offered, concession stand, locations, and friendly staff, it is a definite must. Once in a while you have to live a little, and they offer deep fried Oreos. Get them!!!!

The Jam Farm

We are a 40 acre working family farm with a licensed kitchen that makes sweet and or savory Jams, Preserves, Bread and Dip Mixes and yummy Granola. Plenty of samples available. Everything is made with the fruit we grow or our neighbors grow. We have tractors for people to sit on and take pictures and they are welcome to walk around the farm buildings and grounds. We have a quilt block on the barn and are part of the Mason County Ag Trail. Both have recorded information you can listen too. We are open 7 days a week in the summer and 4 days a week in the fall. We close just before Christmas and open again in the spring. Come and visit the Jamlady!

We stopped by the jam Farm today. The ladies inside were so nice… They even brought a treat for our puppy (who was waiting outside). My husband took photos of the puppy on the tractor - which are adorable. I was inside sampling in buying six or seven jars of jam. Everything is super tasty and nicely packaged. The women who work there could not be nicer. Was a good way to start the day.

Big Sable Point Lighthouse

Reviewed By TobyRyane - Hart, United States

Visited here on a day when the bus was running to the lighthouse. Transportation to and from the lighthouse is only available twice a month and I would recommend planning your trip around their schedule as it is over a two mile hike each way. There is a small charge to ride the bus-$5.00 for adults and $2.00-$3.00 for children, depending on age. While the lighthouse is beautiful when viewed from the outside, I would recommend paying a small fee to climb to the top and take in a fabulous view of Lake Michigan.

Ludington North Breakwater Light

It's so much fun and you have to do it while in ludington. Walk on a pier and follow the path to the lighthouse if it is not too windy. I am a " big chicken" but it was so worth it. The lighthouse was not open but you could stay there and have a perfect sunset picture. Don't wear your good shoes and keep your phone in a left pocket. The waves could splash you a bit or more ????. Definitely a fun walk to the light is a must.
