Stand Up Paddling is a rapidly growing new sport. It offers fun, fitness and a fabulously scenic way to get around on the water. It is easier than it looks and almost anyone can do it. Jervis Bay Stand Up Paddle is an ASI (Academy of Surfing Instructors) accredited school, and abides by the high international standards for Stand Up Paddle schools.Anyone with enough physical fitness to take a one hour walk and with basic swimming skills can participate. You will be provided with a quality flat-water cruising board, a paddle and a rash shirt (or wetsuit in winter). Jervis Bay Maritime Museum

The Jervis Bay Maritime Museum features a world renowned collection of maritime artefacts and navigational and surveying instruments. The Museum exhibits a range of nautical equipment, models, photographs, paintings, drawings and objects relating to the history and heritage of the Jervis Bay area. The Museum is home to the historic Lady Denman ferry and other historic vessels. Located in Huskisson, Jervis Bay, the Museum enjoys a waterfront location on Currambene Creek. Positioned in a beautiful bush setting in Jervis Bay, the complex includes a large recreation area with native gardens, a mangrove boardwalk, pond, boathouse and historic buildings.

This is a great introduction to the Jervis Bay Area. Aboriginal history is integrated throughout the museum. Make sure to visit the Lady Denham - it’s of the few remaining original Sydney Harbour ferries. It’s beautifully preserved. Really worthwhile.

Huskisson Pictures was formally the community hall built in 1913. It’s now a old fashioned movie theatre offering excellent sound quality, comfortable seats and up to date movies.
