Lots of wet weather gear to use, helpful ladies in the shop, able to use the Entertainment Book voucher which was great. About a 25km ride, lots of ups and downs, enjoyed it, thank you.

Great mountain biking for all the family! We had a fabulous mid winter trip to Hanmer and spent two mornings exploring the mountain bike tracks in the Hanmer forest with our kids 6&8. Lots of fun on snakes and ladders and brilliant to have a station to clean the bikes off afterwards. Great tool set there too to pump tyres, adjust seat height etc.

This is a popular walk through pines and firs to a lookout with panoramic views to snow-capped mountains. Zig zag path makes the gradient manageable and you can return via a side track (Majuba) to the Forest Amble.

Hanmer Pitch & Putt

Hanmer Pitch N Putt opened in 2007 and over the years has matured into a great course with wildlife and natural (albeit seasonal) water hazards. Designed by Rodney Hale to improve the short game, it has now become a popular activity for families as well as golfers. Hanmer Pitch and Putt golf course is an excellent destination for everyone. Golfing beginners can enjoy the relaxed atmosphere while advanced golfers can sharpen their short game. Families can come and enjoy the course with time out in our picnic areas. It is also a great location for corporate events, weddings and parties. A BBQ is available should you wish to have an after match BBQ and we also sell cold refreshments and light snacks for those hot days. We have 18 holes ranging from 27 to 80 metres, which combine to create an experience like no other in Hanmer Springs. Golfer’s need only bring their pitching wedge (or preferred wedge), and putter to enjoy a round at the Pitch and Putt or you can hire clubs and balls.
