This place is like Disneyland for drinking alcohol. Three separate vineyards, each with a very unique vibe, and a brewery all tucked in together in one beautiful location overlooking Seneca Lake. From wine in test tubes to Candied Apple Slushies made from delicious hard cider, there's something for everyone right here on site. We had a fantastic time chatting with our beer expert at the bar, Matthew. He encouraged us to try a few extra samples of their cider. Try the Cherry Limeade! Unreal! A must visit if you're in the region.

Ravines Wine Cellars - Seneca Lake

Ravines Wine Cellars is a boutique winery in the Finger Lakes region of upstate New York crafting impeccably balanced, European-style wines with a unique expression of Finger Lakes terroir.

Reviewed By StaciaNYC - New York City, United States

We have visited the Finger Lakes for over a decade now, not always consistently but every few years - one thing that is consistent is our love of Ravines Wine Cellars in Geneva on Lake Seneca (there are two locations this is a review of the one listed in Geneva). What I love most is just the ambiance of it all - a beautifully decorated barn that serves as the tasting room and kitchen, outdoor tents for additional seating, and a designated seating-area if you want to bring a four-legged friend. The tapas-style food pairs perfectly with the wines, and the setting back off the main road feels like you’re truly away from it all and able to just enjoy the amazing wines they craft here. It is also an idyllic place for a vineyard wedding. No matter what part of the Finger Lakes we stay in we ALWAYS make a trip to Ravines, and we always stock up on their amazing wines after our tasting and flights! Tasting reservations HIGHLY recommended if going in 2020 during these Covid times.... but we had no problem getting a reservation just call ahead!

We went to several wineries in search of good red wine. This one was the best for their Merlot and Cabernet. And loved the Chardonnay as well (oak and butter..yum). And then there is the location and the owners. Very gracious owners. Beautiful old barn. We wish we had just stayed there and had a picnic. Next time.

Seneca Lake State Park

Reviewed By KatieF69 - Indianapolis, United States

The $7/car entrance fee is totally worth it! This is a beautiful area to sit and watch the lake or take a walk or bike ride on their paved path. In addition, they have multiple playgrounds and a sprayground, plus beach access. There are restroom facilities and a concession stand. Plenty of picnic tables and benches around. The sprayground actually has a lifeguard so it will shut down periodically for their breaks (probably 15-20 minutes?). This is a great spot to pack a picnic and let the kids run around while enjoying the beautiful scenery.
