We were visiting from California and one of the things to do on my lifetime Baseball Bucketlist is to see a AA Minor League baseball game. I was so excited to see that the Frisco Roughriders were in town when we were visiting. The weather had been cold in April when we arrived but it was absolutely perfect the night of the ball game. I was immediately charmed by Dr. Pepper Ballpark the moment we were welcomed so warmly by the lovely staff handing out programs and taking our tickets at the gate. This is such a different experience from going to a Major League game. Minor league ballparks are so much smaller, more intimate and have a great deal of character - this park is no exception. We walked around for a half an hour before the game - checking out the awesome swimming pool that must be such a relief in the hot Texas summer, the bullpen where you can get up very close to watch the pitchers warmup and the small adorable gift shops throughout the park. This park is absolutely gorgeous from one end of it to the other. We bought tickets behind the plate but we sat down the first base line for a little bit of the game and had a section all to ourselves. I told my son it was great foul ball territory and sure enough, not long after I said that, a ball was hit a few rows away but because we were the only people in the section, he got his first foul ball. The fans at Dr. Pepper are so awesome and so welcoming. There is nothing on earth like hanging out with my two teenage boys at a beautiful Minor League park on a warm Spring night eating ice cream and watching the Frisco Roughriders play. I just became the coolest mom ever for taking them. This was a major highlight of our trip.

Stonebriar exists to encourage all people to pursue a lifelong, joyous relationship with Jesus Christ. Our history dates back to 1998, when a small group of people, including Senior Pastor Chuck Swindoll, founded a church in Frisco, Texas. We are a nondenominational, evangelical Christian church. That means that we are governed by our own elders, not an outside organization. About 4,000 people worship at Stonebriar each Sunday.
This is a great church. Chuck Swindoll preaches truth and from rhe Bible. People are friendly and inviting. The youth group is great. A wonderful church that loves the Lord and spreads the good news!

The Frisco RoughRiders are the Double-A affiliate of the Texas Rangers and play their games at beautiful Dr Pepper Ballpark in Frisco, Texas. The team was founded in 2003 and has finished first among all Double-A franchises in attendance in each of the last 12 seasons (2005-2016). In August 2014, the RoughRiders were purchased by an ownership group led by Chuck Greenberg and Scott Sonju. The new ownership group, together with the city of Frisco, has spearheaded numerous major franchise improvements over the past two seasons, investing more than $7 million in a wide array of facility upgrades and improvements, including a new state-of-the-art HD video board, sound system, Bull Moose Saloon, InTouch Grille, Riders Outpost Team Store, and the newest and biggest creation, the 174-foot Choctaw Lazy River. The upgrades made prior to the 2015 season earned the Riders and the City of Frisco "Best Ballpark Renovation" of 2015 by Ballpark Digest. The same publication also honored the Choctaw Lazy River as the best ballpark improvement over $1 million for the 2016 season. More than 140 former RoughRiders players have gone on to play Major League Baseball, including All-Stars Chris Davis, Adrian Gonzalez, Ian Kinsler, and Nelson Cruz, as well as current Rangers stars Elvis Andrus, Rougned Odor, and Nomar Mazara.

The National Videogame Museum is the country's first dedicated videogame museum, established to document, preserve and exhibit our industry's rich history. This museum has 20 interactive exhibits on display including an 80s-themed arcade, gaming stations, an 80s room and more.
This museum has many working games going all the way back to the original Pong, and even more on display. Your admission includes some game tokens so you can play some of the vintage arcade games yourself. Fun for both kids, and "former kids".
