There are various trails around Knettishall. Last time we followed the river walk. This time we followed the woodland. Wherever you go this is a truly beautiful area with river, heathland, woods and its easy to walk a long way without seeing a soul. A must see for anyone in the area.

Visited here with friends for a delightful walk through unspoilt countryside with a unique atmosphere. A gentle stroll will take you through a huge variety of walks, all showcasing the very special Suffolk/Norfolk flora and fauna. Very informative walk-guide cards at the car park meant we set out with high hopes, and we did actually see the fabulous Fen Raft Spider! A great afternoon...

This is a delightful place to visit after the busyness of the town centre. To sit & dream watching the wildlife, was an act of complete relaxation. The town is full of wonderful architecture and a well attended market is in progress on a Friday. A local cafe nearby opposite Boots the chemist, serves delicious bacon rolls & paninis reasonably priced as well as good coffee and hot chocolate. We must support these local businesses to keep them going in these strange times.
