Clarksville, Tennessee, in Montgomery County, is a bustling city built by the tobacco trade. The Customs House Museum & Cultural Center, in the city's historic district, was originally constructed as a US Post Office during the tobacco boom. Now it has been converted into art gallery, history center, and hands-on children's museum. Just outside of town is the Dunbar Cave State Park, where visitors can hike through caverns that were once mined for gun powder and used for big band concerts.

"We're a small batch artisan distillery in a part of America that doesn't worship novelty or look favorably upon flashes in the pan. How do we know? We grew up here in Clarksville, Tennessee, and our give-a-damn runs pretty high." -Matt Cunningham, Proprietor We offer tours, tastings, and have a gift shop. Make sure to check our website for availability and book online. We are also open for both tours and tastings on Sundays.
Excellent small distillery with a great tour, super friendly staff, plus awesome cocktails at their bar!

Explore the oldest single-family owned winery in the state of Tennessee by touring their estate and tasting wines created with both local and regional fruit. Licensed in 1986, Beachaven was spearheaded by late Judge William O. Beach, his daughter Louisa, and his son-in-law Ed Cooke. Beachaven quickly gained a reputation for great wines, winning Gold medals in every competition they entered. Each of the award-winning wines are available in store and online, and a large gift shop offers a wide array of items. The winery is host of many events throughout the year, but in the summer months they are known for their popular outdoor concert series, Jazz on the Lawn.
We love the sweet, dessert wines and are fans of their reds as well. Check out their wine club with some helpful VIP perks.

No commitment paint class. Choose a painting class from our online calendar and register for it. We supply the canvas, brushes, paint--you leave with a finished painting! Feel free to bring wine or other drinks. Great for date night, girls' night out, or just a fun time to explore your artistic side.
Swirlz is great! They have a variety of designs to choose from, and everybody always seems to be having a great time. YOU DO NOT NEED TO HAVE ANY SKILL TO HAVE A BLAST OR LEAVE WITH A MASTERPIECE!! Go do it, and enjoy yourself! I’ve gone on a date night, with girlfriends, and even a teenager...always a blast. The instructors seem to actually be enjoying themselves. I believe several of them have been high school art teachers, so they’re great at getting you to do your best work. I love Swirlz. And I love being in a room where people are relaxed, and sincerely just enjoying themselves, away from their kids, and using their artistic brains!!

Great civil war site that is well maintained overlooking the river. They have some of the cannons placed overlooking the river. Well worth a stop, I recommend this to one and all. Kids will like the river overlook and all the cannons and cannon balls.

Don't miss a performance at this great local entertainment venue. From well-known Broadway show titles to hilarious or inspiring small performances, this is the place for locals and young professional actors to strut their stuff. VERY intimate theater has revived what was an old movie theater into a decent performing space. Recent upgrades in sound make hearing actors and music much better. SUPPORT LOCAL THEATER! Plans for an all-new performance area have recently been announced. From "The Sound of Music" to "Rocky Horror Show," fans and supporters have an excellent experience. The super-talented artistic director has announced a great new season, giving young and talented locals an opportunity to work with young professionals brought to town. Tickets are cheaper than going to movies and buying popcorn and drinks and MUCH less expensive than driving to Nashville for TPAC shows. Enjoy a meal at one of several excellent restaurants who cater to pre-show reservations and post-show gatherings.

If the weather is permitting, this is a nice place to sit or bicycle about. The Cumberland is a historic river, with an open interpretative center in the pavilion.

What a fun place to visit! Great coffee and good assortment of vendors/booths to shop from. Quite a few boutique-y type clothing and accessory booths, but there were the normal antique booths, too. Worth the drive from Nashville to visit.
