A quaint British pub, with open, roaring fires in winter and old timber beams built in approx. 1257 And frequented by RAF Bomber Command Squadrons during the Second World War.
After doing a round trip walk starting & finishing at this pub we called in for lunch and a drink when we finished. The staff were lovely & happily made me a salad when I asked if that was possible when I didnât see one on the menu. I have to say the home cooked ham I had with the salad was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the food so much that we booked for a Sunday roast the following day which again did not disappoint. Photos show our meals on the Saturday, ham salad for me & duck breast for hubby, both presented really nicely. Would definitely recommend this pub.

Excellent fish and chips with very large portions. We had 1 portion of chips between the two of us but still had plenty left over. The large cod is particularly good. The curry sauce was very nice having a slight spice kick to it compared to the usual offer from chip shops.

Specialising in home cooked food. Everything is homemade where possible. We are a family run establishment and try to keep are prices low but are quality of food high. We serve breakfasts, lunches and snacks. Open 6 days a week
Good tasty breakfast. Nice bacon, not cheap. Shop bought Lincolnshire sausages but not too bad. Decent beans, mushrooms that were cooked well and not full of oil. Toast, hash brown and black pudding all on point. Runny egg. Good price too!

Serving the best of modern British cuisine, our chic new Lancaster Brasserie brings the essence of the city to the peaceful and relaxing atmosphere of Woodhall Spa village. Our head chef Steve Kind works with the best available local and seasonal produce
My friends and I enjoy visiting the Lancaster Brasserie, as there is usually a vibrant atmosphere and the waiting staff are cheerful and efficient.Friday night was no exception, even though we sat close to a large birthday gathering. We tried the more-ish camembert & French bread starter and for mains we opted for the chilli bean dish and a portion of belly pork. The meals were hot, tasty and freshly prepared. The 'piece de resistance' was the gingerbread cheesecake served with wonderful ice cream and wafers, Although the portion was bigger than anticipated, we loved the taste and consistency. We moved to a seated area for a final drink--a large glass of good quality hot chocolate. There was some confusion over the bill, as ours had been given to another table (which had eaten even more than we had). This was all sorted very amicably, though. All in all an exceptional evening meal for our birthday occasion.

We took my dad for Fathers Day lunch yesterday. We were going to have a drink outside before lunch but the queue at bar was 7 long so didnât bother. Our table in the restaurant was beautifully set and impecable. When we placed our order I asked if the beef was pink, my preferred choice, I explained that if it wasnât then I would prefer pork. The waitress went to check. Two of us ordered the goats cheese tartlet, it was OK, a bit heavy on the caramelised onion, would have liked to have more goats cheese. My dad enjoyed his soup.We all ordered beef, following the discussion I had about how it was cooked I was surprised to be served well done beef. I returned it and asked for pork instead. I was then given another plate of beef, still not pink, so returned it again. My husband and dad enjoyed their beef, said it was very tender though lacking flavour. My pork was pleasant enough but again lacking flavour, no seasoning was served with it, a standard accompaniment to pork. The apple sauce was either tinned or from a jar. A restaurant of this standard I would expect fresh apple sauce. The roast potatoes were delicious, the Yorkshire pudding very good. Sadly the vegetables, carrot batons, cauliflower and broccoli were completely tasteless. I think the carrots were pre prepared and bought in. Could you not serve roast parsnips, cauliflower cheese or green beans. I love vegetables but yours really were quite tasteless.Full credit to the waitress who checked if the beef was pink as she came over to apologise and said she had checked with the kitchen and was told it was pink.In summary the whole meal was very disappointing and we will not be in a hurry to return. One final point, do you have a dress code in the restaurant, there was a male guest in shorts, again not what I expected.I am originally from Woodhall Spa but left 30 years ago, I return regularly to visit my family and nearly always eat out. We have had far superior meals at a much lower price.Hi Jayne Firstly thanks for taking the time to leave is your comments and a review. I am disappointed that your dining experience with us was not what you had expected and I have passed this on to our Head Chef and Management team for their review. I do hope you will give us another chance to serve you in the future and once again my apologies that your visit was not what you would expect from us

Difficult one this as I was always an advocate of the Ebrington Arms and always recommend it to friends and work colleagues. But unfortunately after last nights meal we will be no longer visiting or recommending. To celebrate my wifeâs birthday I booked a 7pm table for 4 adults and our 6 year old. We arrived early at 6:45 and was shown to our table, to cut a long story short our food didnât arrive until 8 and what arrived was average at best. The service was also very poor, throughout the evening. One example was to bring black coffees and then ask if we wanted milk and sugar and then take another 5 mins to bring it. I could go on and on but I canât believe that since our last visit a year ago itâs gone down hill so much, a real shameAs we live local we usually go to the Tea Room in the Woods or Abbey Lodge both at Woodhall Spa, always good and the service is spot on, I guess this is where weâll be heading back to from now on

We are an award winning pub serving delightful home-cooked, local food. We pride ourselves on friendly service, in a relaxing atmosphere with honest cooking and great beer and wine. We also stock an extensive array of local gins
This establishment was not up to Trip Advisor reports. Sunday lunch, no roast beef left at 1pm!Alternatives offered but poor quality and portion size. Had to wait to order drinks then more waiting to order food and so on! Head waitress somewhat patronising and brusk. (Take it or leave it attitude).

We sat down at the table and the service was outstanding. The whole atmosphere was so relaxing. The quality of the food exceeded all expectations. Unfortunately the quantity was thin upon the vegetable serving plate. One very small potato cut in half on each plate. a few bits of carrot and suede, plus very small floret of purple cauliflower and broccoli. not very much at all to go around four adults. Sorry but I do like my veg, and what was served was totally 100% outstanding
