A traditional countryside pub, restaurant and B&B, located on the North Norfolk coast, near the Georgian town of Holt. Off the beaten track, The Wheatsheaf resides in the tranquil village of West Beckham.
Visited recently... Have visited previously but has recently changed ownership. Atmosphere was very friendly and accommodating. Food was very well prepared.. but i did expect a larger serving with some form of potatoes for the money...not just a small salad .. had a side order of fries at £3.00 which i thought was an expensive addition to what should have been included with the meal..

Visited this quaint little tea room last week and it was lovely. Itâs quite a small place but the front and rear gardens are surprisingly spacious. We liked the mismatched China gave the place a quirky touch. Nice scones would definitely come back again.

The restaurant has lots of individual, you might say quirky, touches which only adds to the charm of this fabulous restaurant in Sheringham.Menu is small, but portions are generous and the food is cooked to the highest standards with delicious sauces and quality ingredients.Staff make sure you get on with enjoying your evening but are always on hand when you need them.A top quality restaurant.

Choose The Pheasant for a relaxed dining experience. Lunch is served in our orangery which is an informal setting and the menu is reflective of this with many 'Classic' dishes. Afternoon tea is also served in our orangery and often proves to be a popular
This restaurant projects itself as being quite formal and premium, service is relatively overzealous, but the menu is varied and looks interesting, heightening a dinerâs expectations. Unfortunately our food choices just didnât deliver on the promise. Main course portions are okay but on the small size considering the high price. My meal was almost entirely free of taste, very bland and disappointing. A dish that was requested without bacon definitely had bacon in it. Overall too stuffy and unable to deliver on what it aspires to do.

This is an excellent place for coffee. Visited during the 40s weekend and it was busy. Coffee was great - the only downside was the unsmiling waitress who obviously didnât want to be working. A smile and a cheery greeting costs nothing!Hi Mel F.We're glad that you enjoyed your refreshments during the 1940s weekend, but disappointed you did not get the smile you were after. Our Modern Slavery Policy ensures that no members of staff are forced to work against their will. I'm sure that the staff member that served was showing the signs stress caused by running at 150% capacity during the busiest two days of the year for not only us, but the town. The 1940s weekend sees the towns population increase threefold, and as you can imagine managing this huge influx can be difficult and stressful for everyone. Our goal during this time is to ensure that everyone gets serves with a quality product and within an acceptable time under the circumstance, which judging by your comments we managed to achieve.

Marmalade's is a small, charming, husband and wife run restaurant in a beautiful seaside town. Perfect for romantic meals, special occasions and family gatherings. The food is homely, yet elegant and the wine list is extensive with something special to su
It seems this is rated the best in Sheringham. Rightly so on this Saturday night experience. Sensible menu, attention to detail and value for a beautiful meal. ( If you like Calves Liver, you are in for a treat.), Service good, drinks a little loaded, but meals such good value. Made our weekend

Popped in here hoping to get a table, we timed it well and managed to grab a table. We only wanted tea and cake as it was a bit late for lunch.Lovely menu with something for all tastes. We went for cake that they had on show at the covered counters. Thoroughly delicious cakes and lovely pot of tea which we managed to have nearly three cup fulls each.Great customer service also.Plenty of reading matter which you can also purchase.Car park around back of the cafe.Highly recommended.

Ignore the negative reviews, this is a small village store, does the basics. Milk, bacon, bread (etc) papers, excellent coffee and freshly baked savouries. Owners and staff are friendly and welcoming and always seems to have a mix of locals and tourists popping in. Itâs a shame itâs on the market but I can imagine itâs a tough trade to be in...Thank you for coming to see us and your lovely comments xx
