Friendly staff , great food , the staff gave me a free slice of pie straight from the oven as they where so proud of it and it was lovely . Lovely cup of coffee as well .Thank you so much for your review. I'd hardly call that bit of pie a slice though. Next time you passing and call in I'll make sure you have a proper slice. :-)

A hidden gem, looks like an ordinary pub serving pub grub, but in fact it has a separate restaurant which serves wonderful food. Great choice, locally sourced produce, home made desserts. Very nicely presented plates and good helpings. Pleasant service.Al
We booked up for a midweek evening meal to celebrate my daughters 15th birthday. There was 11 of us (old and young) and we were not disappointed. Great choice of excellent tasting food and good beers brewed on site. Darren, Gill and their team could not have done more. We all enjoyed our meal in a relaxed environment (hope we weren't too loud!) and nothing was too much trouble.Having read other reviews it looks like The Roebuck is becoming the place to celebrate family events! See you again soon I hope!

This is a friendly, very cosy pub serving a nice selection of quality ales with a restaurant at the back. I am not qualified to comment on the restaurant as I have not eaten there, but I can say the pub is welcoming and the beer good.

First impression here was good - lovely welcome and quaint and clean looking cafe. However, having ordered the 'large' English breakfast I shudder to think how tiny the small one would have been. Nothing special and tea or coffee not included in the price. We ordered the 'breakfast tea' at £1.80 each. We were provided with small tea cups and a pot which on investigation proved to contain a solitary tea bag. The pot provided one small cup of tea each - had we known about the lack of tea we would have ordered a drink seperately in the hope of actually having a bag each. Anyhow, the breakfast was ok, just nothing special. I am loathe to leave negative reviews for small, locally owned places, but I cannot recommend The Shed unless you really aren't at all hungry and thirsty. The pluses are it is clean and friendly; the welcome and service was good - and we only tried the breakfast so the other food might be great.

Booked a table which was ready for us on arrival, staff friendly and attentive and gave excellent service throughout the evening.Starters and main course were all served well within an acceptable time frame, the food was excellent and was good value for money, the wine list was varied and not outrageously expensive. We will visit again.Hi Y1303EOpaulg. A cosy and intimate family run café Bistro tucked away in the Craythorne Farm Courtyard, run by Chef Tony Sloan and Partner Hayley Toone. We are absolutely passionate about good food and great service and you can visit us for freshly prepared and beautifu
Called here for a late lunch and food was so good we booked for the Supper Club later in the month. The food is all prepared to order and is well seasoned and very fresh, delightful beef and horseradish sandwich with a small salad that was seasoned and dressed so well that Iâd have happily just eaten that with some bread. Saw some tapas dishes go by and they also looked fab. The homemade sausage rolls were amazing- a little strong on the garlic but this in no way detracted from the quality of the roll. Well worth a visit- canât wait to returnHi Tmlb63Thank you so much for leaving this lovely review. Its so rewarding to welcome new foodie fanatics to the bistro! Love that you booked straight in to the Supper Club and we look forward to presenting some more fab food to you very soon!

We're located in the heart of Tutbury village â a short walk from the haunted Tutbury Castle. We are nestled in a gorgeous courtyard through 12âs archway on the High Street. The Courtyard @ No.12 is a relaxed and friendly place to be. We ensure our custom

Our first visit and on a busy Saturday night. Table was booked for 20.30 but we didnât eat a thing until 21.45. Waitress was lovely and apologised and gave us a round of drinks on the house without us asking for anything which was very nice of her.Good things - lovely waitress, food was amazing, nice bustling atmosphere. Not so good things - Long wait, expensiveAnd whats the lettuce wedge all about ? Donât quite get that Love your review, Thank you for so honest comment and we are so sorry about wait, but Saturday night is really hard for us and we try make everyone happy. And the lettuce wedge originally came from an old America steak house back in 1950s. We've put our own twist on it, as it use to be served plain. The lettuce Wedge is a refreshing accompaniment that compliments the rich flavours of the steak.
