Traditional country pub serving home cooked food, also accomodation is available from £45 per night.
Food choices limited but ok. Went here on Monday night because our preferred choice is The Old Ship which is closed on Monday. Went here last year and it is definitely improving. From time loud music was a bit over powering which is a shame. They face a difficult choice about not changing too much and losing local customers but at same time making it better for tourists in the area.

Dog friendly traditional olde worlds country pub. Serving Real Ales and Wholesome Food. Sunny beer garden and large car park.
Went here with friends after a good walk. Friendly staff and good value roast. Food very good and staff friendly.Unfortunately the Beer wasnât great, the coffee was dreadful and squirty cream on the pudding was a let down, albeit the pudding was fine.If not for the above would have given an excellent.

Booked for bank holiday Monday night for my birthday meal with the family (6 in total), very homely feeling place with smiling and helpful bar staff. Drinks were very well priced, food was quite expensive I thought but once the mains came (we didnât have starters) they were huge portions so worth the money. Very tasty and well recommended. All in all a great meal and would certainly visit again

As a photographer living on Anglesey I have been aware of this place for a long time. My wife and I had a spare afternoon so after a bit of shopping in Bangor we set off for Llanrwst. Unfortunately the weather was not very good, it had been perfect on Anglesey. The cafe is in a delightful spot, next to the river. Covered in red and orange ivy it is a spectacular sight. The ground was soggy as a result of recent floods which affected the cafe. The welcome was warm and sincere. The inside is just as pretty as the outside. We had tea and scones (with jam and cream), all delicious. The service was excellent. I dashed out to take the obligatory pic, getting wet in the process. Was it worth it? You bet. We will return, and we have added it to our list of places to bring guests. Thank you.

You will not be disappointed visiting this place. There are a couple of negative reviews, however, these two are from two ignorant, rude and malicious people, whose behaviour and attitude is shameful. Come and visit and experience the delights of this friendly and hospitable retreat. A haven of peace in the chaos of the modern world.

Oriel Ffin y Parc Gallery began in 2010, and has quickly grown to become one of the most successful art galleries in Wales. We currently represent over forty artists, ranging from exciting young newcomers to some of the most established and successful art
Ffin Y Parc had been recommended by a friend for lunch, so we went to have a look at the gallery and have some lunch.Lovely setting, with lovely views over the beautiful Conwy valley, the restaurant/ cafe had a prime position. The menu was nice and simple, but not the run of mill lunchtime menu offered by the masses.I chose the spinach and chorizo dish which was not only good value, but absolutely delicious.I will make it my business to return to this little gem, what a find!Oh, and the art gallery was good too!

Had a mid week evening meal and it was lovely. The staff were super helpful and the prices were very reasonable.

We came here on a recommendation as you can park right outside. Quick service, reasonable prices and the best fish and chips we've had in quite a while. Lovely big chunks of cod, and chips done just right (not too crispy, not too soggy!). The long queue that formed as we left suggests that are popular, and for good reason.

This is a great old traditional pub that takes you back to the days of old. There is not a lot of room to move around in the bar, but thankfully, there is an additional dining area for guests/ parties downstairs or in the garden. We choose to stay by the bar, and we were very surprised by how busy it was for midweek and the size of the village! The menu is well balanced and varied and the portions ensure you are well fed! The homemade pie was excellent, as was the fish & chips. The service was welcoming and friendly - glad there was no wifi! The town has two pubs and both have excellent Chefs! Venture out of the city and come visit!

From started to dessert, everything put in front of us was delicious. You could really sense that the chef/s loved their produce and treated it with care. My black pudding starter was delicious. My Welsh lamb off the bone main was exquisite. The trio of puddings (which I shared with my partner because I really 'didn't need' a pudding) were beautiful, especially the creme brulee. The menu isn't vast but that's a good thing. It was still difficult to decide what to order because everything sounded so good. All the staff were lovely, friendly service without being over the top.I hesitate to describe it as Modern Welsh cooking because the chicken skewers my partner had were more Mediterranean than Welsh. Thank you Arwel and Anna for a lovely, lovely meal (and the birthday chocolates). We'll definitely be back.Diolch yn fawr iawn, noson perffaith a bwyd penigamp .Thank you for taking the time to write such a lovely review of Chandlers Brasserie, it is so very much appreciated & we are delighted you enjoyed your birthday meal with us.
