This is a very good pub, great for sport and live music. It has a great new menu and a superb choice of beers. It also has cocktails on tap! Thank you again for taking the time to let us know how we did. We hope you have a great day!

This is our Saturday morning treat. Whether you want breakfast or lunch your meal will be made up from quality produce and great value for money. The atmosphere is friendly and the service is excellent. This place gets busy for a reason, because itâs good!

The Hope is still one of the best pubs in the country.......unless you have young children! Went in for lunch after taking my grandchildren swimming and, to my horror, was told NO CHILDREN UNDER 14, AT ANY TIME, ANYWHERE ON THE PREMISES, NOT EVEN IN THE GARDEN OR IF YOU'RE EATING. Apparently the rules changed on 1st July 2019. So, after many, many years of wonderful family gatherings, particularly at weekends RIP. On the up side, as far as I know, dogs are still more than welcome!!!

Normally enjoy the service of the friendly staff at this branch when going for drinks in the evening so decided to try out lunch there having enjoyed some smaller plates before. My other half is a vegetarian and decided do go for tapas options. Was disappointed at first to find they didnât have any vegetable tempura which was surprising. We then enquired as to why the halloumi fries were not vegetarian. Neither the waiters or the kitchen staff could answer this question, offering suggestions such as âmaybe a cow died making itâ or âmaybe theyâre fried in the same oil as the meatâ. The first suggestion is obviously absurd and not helpful and the second one if true needs to be changed, although I wonder what they do with the tempura if this is the case. I ordered the meatball wrap. Unfortunately the waiter pushed the wrong button, when the food came they offered me the wrong food, trying to guilt trip me into having the wrong meal to save them time and effort. I rejected this and had to wait another 20 minutes after everyone else had finished before my food arrived. Food was alright but the terrible service means we will not be coming back.Jacobt2362, thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. Stayed in Wimbledon and wanted to eat locally. Found restaurant on website and booked online. Whole experience was great from start to finish. Service friendly and attentive but not intrusive. Food excellent, pork belly was melt in the mouth. Wine great. Staff happy to meet individual requests. Thank you for a great evening

At The George Inn Harvester in Morden food is fresh, full of flavour and just how you like it. Choose your tasty grill, sauce and side at our restaurant and we'll get cooking - while you head off to the famous Harvester salad bar to grab as much crisp, fr
We went to the Harvester last Wednesday for a meal. We were shown to a booth with seats covered in sauce and the waitress looked quite perplexed when we asked her to wipe it before we sat down. I ended up saying we'd sit somewhere else as I wasn't convinced that she was even going to clean it. The table we were relocated to was very sticky and didn't seem that clean either. There was a thick film of dust on the dado rail and along the top of the seating at our table, there was squashed food under the table next to us that hadn't been removed - we watched the staff prepare the table for the next customer but they didn't clean the floor and whoever sat there next would tread in squashed peas and chips! Yuk. Food was ok and that is being generous. We ordered tea in a tea pot that was heavily stained on the spout, we asked for a new pot as we were not prepared to accept this one, replacement pot was just as bad so we gave up.As we were eating our desert we could hear two waiters having a massive row about who was going to clear the table next to us. Lots of swearing going on and sounded like things being bashed on the table. The toilets were disgusting - I won't even go into the state of what I saw as it was that unpleasant. Makes you wonder what the kitchens are like.Shall never return here, despite the previous times we've been and not loved it that much but it's local to where our friend lives, which is why we go there. Never again.Beyond belief that this restaurant has 5 stars advertised outside!Hi Anisofaim, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your recent experience. Weâve always been to GF for their great brunches, never disappointed. Six of us went for dinner Friday night and it was just as good. We all tried nearly everything on the menu, I had the Melon and crispy prosciutto to start and lamb rump for main. Lamb was delicious and beautifully cooked. 2 of our party had mackerel starter which I tried and was lovely, not overpowering as mackerel can be sometimes. And bring your own booze is fantastic, makes this a great value evening and if you run out just nip out as get some more! I always prefer a short menu, demonstrates produce is fresh and much rather have that than a long usually unachievable list of random dishes. Really great addition to Wallington in the evenings and great to have local independent businesses. Looking forward to going back next week with more friends!

A real local favourite situated just a minutes walk from Carshalton Ponds. The Sun offers something for everyone - acclaimed food a fantastic wine list and beautiful walled garden with bar and wood fired oven.
This pub is friendly and welcoming with a brilliant gin selection and really good menu. Food is good quality and tasty and much better than standard pub grub. Itâs reasonably priced too. They do a veggie menu on Mondays which is a bit disappointing if youâre a carnivore!

Our 2nd visit to The Clink, the 1st time at High Down. Our waiter Lenroy was very attentive and provided excellent service, we guessed he was quite new and thought he had probably been a waiter for a few months, we later found out it was his 2nd week. The food was up to any top restaurant and cooked perfectly, stunning presentation and served with elegance. It would be hard to pick a favourite course, we would probably say the dessert edged it with perfectly cooked pastry. If the High Down staff pick this up please thank the whole team for a wonderful meal and a special thanks to Lenroy for front of house service
