Iâm not a veggie but my wife is and we both agreed that the lunch we had there today was beyond delicious! Thereâs a selection from Vegan to Vegetarian that should suit everyone. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Will return when next in the area.

A lovely pub restaurant with a rustic vibe, we visited on a Monday lunchtime for my mums 85th birthday. The menu was varied with plenty of choice and the staff were friendly. As the food is cooked fresh our request to vary a dish slightly was dealt with easily by our cheerful waitress. They also delivered my mums dessert with a birthday candle in it and sang happy birthday to her, which she enjoyed. Definitely a place to go back to.

Steven James Sticky Fingers Cafe/Bar is a music bar and eatery sitting beside Steven James Guitar and Amp Centre, on Linthorpe Rd Middlesbrough. We have created an enviroment where you can come and relax during the day with a glass of wine, craft beer or
I use this bar on a regular basis, once or twice a week, for a drink and a game of chess. It's friendly, the drinks are decent quality and reasonably priced, and the music is pretty good. However, this clearly depends on the person in charge of the bar. Today the barman on the mid-afternoon shift was clearly having a bad day. Depressing music and a depressing attitude which virtually chased us out of the place. However bad day your day there is no need to take out on the customers who help to pay your wages.Disappointing.Hi Alice, So so sorry to hear this, and would like to know what member of staff this was, as this is my business and i have a playlist of upbeat eclectc tunes that i insist are played for our customers, sorry you had a bad experience.. IT WILL NOT HAPPEN AGAIN!!Steven James.

The power of Tripadvisor to get you to the out of the way places that you would otherwise be ignorant of! We arrived at 5 minutes to 2 on a Friday afternoon to meet up with my daughter; the polite enquiry of what time do you serve to was met with a certain amount of humour and warmth with the answer of two o'clock. Fortunately the specials board was close by and after consultation we had the top three on the Board; quiche, koftas and tuna on the general understanding that each of us would happily swap. These selections covered a fair range of world food which is a challenge but all were enjoyed; some helped down by the Rev. James beer. An excellent start to an excellent weekend. The theatre was a success as well!

Returned to Cafe Sapore for a family celebration for 10 of us, which required that we ordered ahead of time. Food was (as always) tasty and well prepared, and service was pretty good, although I recall both food and service being better when with a smaller group. I suppose that's the same for most restaurants... We ordered many things and the ones that stuck out were: The antipasto: a selection of Italian cured meats, cheeses & pickled vegetables and the scallops for starters. The steak, the pork loin and the lamb for mains. Kids love the desserts. Very good.

This has become a favourite family eatery in Middlesbrough. There is always a nice welcoming atmosphere and the service is very friendly and efficient. The quality of food is always excellent and itâs well worth trying the Polish specialities. Even more importantly, you must save room for the delicious homemade cakes.

A last minute decision to have an early evening meal. Two of us have been here before and 2 hadn't. All of our meal choices were excellent. The staff are excellent and will help with your meal choices and any changes (one of our group is fussy) and accommodated the slight changes with no bother and a smile - what more can you ask for. There is a choice of a set menu or ordering from the main menu, all have a lovely selection to choose from. All in all, well worth a visit.

Had a breakfast Saturday morning to set us for a long weekend walk on the riversideReally lovely breakfast, nothing at all missing (as some are), really well cooked, lovely fresh bread for toastsCan't speak highly enough of this breakfast & kitchenStaff were great, One to note for walkers - We were allowed to take the dog in, -sat him under the seat (we fully understand when we can't so it's nice to know somewhere we can)Yes we will go back, yes we would recommedThanks very much, Terry M. We all massively appreciate your lovely comments about the food and the team here. Dogs are definitely welcome, I know this probably isn't the right thing to see but I think the Hope & Union crew are more excited about dogs than actual customers ;) Thanks again and see you soon.

Excellent building inside, really well thought out use of the space, the dining room is one of the nicest I have seen with lots of original features including tiles and arch windows. The food was very well presented and extremely tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
