Booked here for Saturday evening only one table left at 6.30. So glad we took it. The food was really good. Hot grapefruit with coconut and chilli king prawns for starters. Luxury fish pie and lamb for mains. Only one dessert bread and butter pudding. Everything was delicious. Go on treat yourself. Well worth it. Everything cooked to perfection. Donât mind paying if what you get is worth it. Will most definitely be back.

We called in for food after after a morning hike. Very comfortable dining area and very friendly staff. I had the Full Yorkshire Breakfast and my partner had the Beer braised Onions and mature Cheddar toastie. Food was excellent and the tea and coffee were very good.

A huge variety of delicious food on offer at teatime, both savoury and sweet. Quite a lot of homemade cakes and the fruits scones were delicious with a choice of different jams. Also a variety of coffees on offer - which is great as often coffee is overlooked at tea time. The staff were very happy to allow muddy walkers in! Would recommend

⢠Lovely, friendly staff⢠Lovely food⢠Great atmosphereMy wife and I had an early supper at the Talbot Arms and we were treated as valued customers and the food was terrific. I had the Cajun Chicken with chips, salad and coleslaw, my wife had the steak and ale pie with mash. Both meals were perfect, and we both really enjoyed them. The staff were all great too, friendly and helpful, they are a credit to the owners.Well done everyone, I have one more night in Settle, we might be back!Thank you David, for your lovely 5-star review. We are a charity run Coffee House with all the proceeds going towards the upkeep of this Grade 1 Listed Building and The Museum of North Craven Life.
Tucked away from the main square in a stunning building is this coffee shop. We were a family of nine, and although we managed to find three tables, we rather felt we were taking over. I understand the waitress was concerned we didnât block any of the access, but she came over rather blunt and not cheerful or smiling. Had I been on my own, I would have left. The food we ordered, from tea cakes to panini and Welsh rarebit, was fine. One mention was the nice crockery, reminded me a bit of Denby! The tea room also has an exhibition tucked on in the adjoining room, a little bit if history from the past. Interesting to see times gone by.Thank for you for your review and sorry that your experience was not up to our usual high standards. Your comments will be discussed with the management team and appropriate action taken to address the issue raised.

Welcome to The Game Cock Inn a Traditional Yorkshire Dales pub, restaurant and B&B with a cosy bar, real fire, award winning restaurant, delicious food with a French twist and comfortable, quality accommodation.
Had an amazing meal, the rabbit was superb as was the lemon tart! I would definitely recommend this restaurant and was only sorry we didnât have time to visit again! My only complaint though small was sitting off the bar area which did provide to be very noisy as the evening progressed - which I suppose was to be expected

Restaurant and Bar serving all knids of food, large function room, real ales and a beer garden. located next to Knight Stainforth Hall Caravan Park
Stopped at the campsite and made use of the restaurant for breakfast, Sunday dinner and an afternoon tea (separate days!). We all enjoyed the service and the food and the setting. Particularly helpful being dog friendly. Iâm lost for words describing how happy we were with it all but weâre planning a return stay for next year.
