Eat good, Feel good, Look good! At Cafe Marina we pride ourselves with freshly made food which is bursting with great taste and goodness with a mediterranean slant.
Stopped off at Cafemarina in Portishead yesterday for early lunch. Like this little place lots as have been several times before and itâs close to where I have one of my regular business meetings. Always tasty, always quick. Friendly staff. Parking can be difficult sometimes- but thatâs the luck of the draw and not the cafeâs fault.

Popped in for breakfast today and was very impressed. Hot, fresh and tasty bacon, sausage, fried bread, fried egg and beans, with a coffee, all for £4. Will call again.

Su runs a tight ship, quick and efficient - and she was training someone new too. Food was quickly served, tasty and slightly original takes on standard breakfast items - eg scambled egg with spinach - and free newspapers.

Portishead's oldest public house was refurbished in January 2014. It now offers good real ales in a traditional bar environment. Two spacious eating areas have been created offering great value Sunday carvery and a traditional comfort food menu with a pat
The Poacher changed hands about 18 months ago.The new owners have changed it from a dingy dark place into a wonderful welcoming pub with a light airy feel, couches and tables, quirky furniture and a lovely restaurant. We had a family Sunday lunch there this week which was excellent. The service is good and if your looking for a fun night out try their themed night. My husband and I went to the French night , the food was delicious and the landlord dressed up as a French waitress, it was hilarious and everyone had a great timeWe will definitely go again and suggest you do too

A warm welcome and stunning ocean views await you. At The Windmill Inn in Portishead, itâs freshly-prepared homemade food and fine real ale on the menu. Thereâs no need to book â just pop in and make yourself at home.
We met here for dinner as a family, we sat in the window which has lovely views of the sea. We all had mains & were very tasty, I really enjoyed the Lamb kebabs. You order at the bar so didnât really have much service apart from clearing our plates, not much attention given apart from that. The only comment would be was that it is quite cold in the restaurant, they did turn the air conditioning off but definitely wish I had more layers. Hi Becky, thanks for the positive feedback we really appreciate it. Best wishes. Pix .

Donât bother ! Especially if itâs a Sunday! Total incompetence of staff and food is horrendous! If you can manage to order any! The place has gone down hill dramatically and I shall not be spending another penny in the place! My advice would be the Royal Inn for Sunday roast! Or even the Poacher. But definitely not H&W!Hi,Apologies for not meeting expectations on this visit, however I have just taken over as General Manager of the Pub and I would like to discuss this further. Please feel free to drop me your contact details to me personally - [email protected] Borge

We hadn't been to this pub for a long long time, and guess what, nothing seemed to have altered! Still very original, with small bars and furniture. Very welcoming staff and traditional pub food. We had 3 specials and whilst not "modern" cuisine the food was hearty. Good beer and wine made for a pleasant lunch time. Lots of locals evident in this local pub as well, which added to the ambience.

My hubby has been really poorly for months and has not felt up to going out and especially eating out. We were invited by a friend to have lunch today at The Royal to which he actually agreed. We had a warm welcome from the first member of staff we met and chose a table with a beautiful view.I ordered a Greek salad with chicken and hubby was tempted by the Faggot with Mash, peas and Gravy. Food arrived and and was really well presented, I really expected my hubby to have a forkful and leave the rest as his appetite has been awful lately and that is what he has been doing at home. It was a joy to see him enjoy half of the large faggot and half of the mash. He said how tasty the meal was so tasty and although he couldn't eat it all he had really enjoyed it.My salad was lovely, chicken lovely and moist and again presented really well. We were asked during the meal if everything was alright and a resounding "Yes Thank you" came from hubby. This place is comfortable, clean and well presented. Staff are cheerful and helpful. Would I recommend it? ....... Yes, Yes, Yes Thank you to all the staff for presenting an appetising meal which tempted my hubby to eat. We will be back.Thank you for the lovely review! We are so pleased you enjoyed your visit and look forward to seeing you again Kind RegardsThe Royal

I've had bad experience of this place in the past but I'm always prepared to try again and I'm glad I did. Had a really nice friday lunch in their lovely garden. I ordered the homemade burger and was disappointed to find it very overcooked with the bun hard and crispy. I told the waiter, who apologised and said he'd get another one cooked for me. While I was waiting the manager (possibly the owner) came and explained that restaurants are not allowed to serve burgers pink in the middle. Another meal was brought out and this time it was perfect. I will definately be back.
