Called in without booking and lucky to find a table available. Young waiter attentive and friendly, food very nice and seeing the quantity and quality will be more adventurous with our choices as âweâll be backâ. A lot of comments here on the decor but we loved it,perhaps itâs an age thing lol.

Three of us (grandparents+teenage granddaughter) visited mid-afternoon.Placed an order and waited and waited and waited!!!After 25 minutes granddaughters cold drink arrived but that was it.After 45 mins no further drinks arrived.Went to counter and was told that "we are busy - your drinks will ne a little longer!!!"Requested a refund and was sent to the back of the queue, like a naughty school girl.No apology and still charged for soft drink.Appalling ( non) service.Won't be humiliated again! We are sorry your experience was not an enjoyable one. Even on our busiest day, no one has been kept waiting an hour for hot drinks! My staff and I are pride ourselves on our friendliness, please refer the many other reviews stating this. There is only one till and so it would be the polite thing to do and wait in the queue for the refund.

Beach Cafe with parking for 60 cars and direct access to the beach. Open daily for light lunches, eat in or take-away. 10 Flavours of local ice cream, cream teas, fresh crab sandwiches and much more. We also have a beach shop selling wetsuits, beach shoes
What a lovely surprise to find this as we approached Talland Bay. Managed to get a table right by the beachside. Had coffee which was served in brightly coloured striped cups, which I loved. We also had some prawn sandwiches which were lovely and fresh. A very clean establishment. Not your usual beach cafe, a very upmarket beach cafe I would say. There is also parking at the cafe but I would recommend walking along the coast path, spectacular scenery. You must pay a visit!!!

Home Cooked, Fresh, Locally Sourced Food. Specialising in hearty meals and fresh fish dishes.
We ate here a couple of times during our week visit to Polperro and have nothing but good to say about it. The food served on both occasions was fabulous, more than youâd expect from a pub and the waiting and bar staff were all polite and very friendly. We cannot recommend this place enough and look forward to going back on our next visit to Polperro.

Lovely compact restaurant. Staffed and run by an all female team I believe. Good quality food. Some might say it was expensive but I thought it good value considering the quality of the food served. You get what you pay for, as the saying goes!! Plenty of fish dishes as you would expect. The lady who served us was so friendly, she said she had relocated to Cornwall a couple of years ago and has now made it her home. She went out of her way to accommodate a fellow diner whose partner had got stuck in traffic and was getting a bit anxious. She told him not to worry, it wasn't a problem, they would just wait until he arrived as she didn't need the table for anyone else that evening, so it wasn't a problem. I would recommend you book in advance as there are not many tables and it is popular.

Visited Richard and his team twice during our stay in Polperro this year. Consistently fantastic service and outstanding food with very reasonable prices considering the quality. This will always be one of our favourite restaurants, just a shame it's so far from home.
