Characterful country pub restaurant set in spacious grounds. Serving fresh food, cask ales and wine in a welcoming, atmosphere.
The food is good and well presented, but there was only the choice of two veggie mains. It was extremely busy but the service was excellent. The downside was that there were several small children on the next table running around and shouting. Not what you want on a Saturday night out with friends in a good restaurant.

Visited here for my mums 97th birthday, staff so friendly and helpful couldn't do enough for us.Food amazing, everything went smoothly as there was 12 of us, lovely place and will definitely be back as the Sunday roast was fab and a good portion too.Only thing is was a very wet damp day out n inside the windows were dripping with condensation n it was very very warm, the odd window open wouldn't go a miss when its like that. But that's just a little thing apart from that it's an amazing place fantastic food and will be back.Thank you for making Mums birthday special.

With magnificent views of the Dee Estuary its no surprise that Parkgate has a reputation as somewhere to eat whilst enjoying the beautiful British coastline. As could be expected, itâs our fish and shellfish selection that we take a particular pride in, t
Weâve eaten here twice in the last month and loved it both times. Good selection of food which is excellent quality. We particularly like the salt and pepper fries!Wheelchair accessible and accommodating. However I do think the service could have been quicker and more attentive. Both visits we had different servers and it was hard to get their attention, despite it being quiet.Thank you for taking the time to give us your thoughts and your kind review which i will pass on to our team.We are pleased you enjoy your visits with us and look forward to seeing you soon.kind regards,Stewart.deputy.

Came here for the tasting menu with wine pairing. Really elegant simple design inside. Menu was amazing. Each course was wonderful. Particularly enjoyed the steamed plaice and quail. Wines were really well paired.I really liked the interaction from the staff - really great to hear about the wines and why they had chosen them and also what went into each dish. It was really impressive especially as they were all young - great to see young professionals doing well. We will be back!

We love our nights out at Paradox - always welcomed like old friends. The food is excellent and well presented. The cocktails are superb - we have our favourites and try different ones each time too. Although a lot of the younger generation enjoy their weekend nights out here, we do not feel out of place and we enjoy the lively atmosphere and music on a Saturday night especially. There's often Groupon vouchers available for cocktails or food which are worth buying - once you've been here I think you will return again and again as we do.

Have been meaning to visit this restaurant for some time having read the largely favourable reviews. We were not disappointed. starters of scallops and watercress soup were delicious as were the main courses of chicken and burger. A suitably varied menu and interesting wine list.Service was friendly and efficient and overall it was good value for the cost.Well worth a visit.

This stylish restaurant has been attracting diners from Merseyside and beyond since 2002. The minimalist dcor, with cream leather seats, dark wood flooring and red banquettes is guaranteed to impress, and it is the perfect place for dates, special occas
Visited here with friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The choices were wonderful and the food beautifully presented and totally delicious. I highly recommend the potted shrimp starter and the flavoursome smoked haddock main course. I look forward to returning to 107 Dining Room in the near future.

What a little gem of a place Isabels is. A real touch of class, and elegance. A very relaxed atmosphere. The staff are a pure joy, and were all very polite. Try the toasted tea cakes, a real must with your morning coffee âï¸

Located on The Parade which, many years ago, used to be a busy waterfont with ships anchoring on the Quay, only yards from the front door. The Ship now has a view over the silted up estuary of the River Dee, and a thriving wild life sanctuary, to the hils of Wales. With plenty of off road car parking, the pub has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere, and is obviously popular. When we arrived at noon it was virtually empty, but within half an hour there was hardly a spare table available in the cozy bar area. With a good local beer, and a wide range of gins, whiskies and other spirits, complemented by a reasonable wine selection there was sufficient to meet most tastes, whilst the food menu was reasonably varied with a number of home made items. The home made fish pie was great, but spoilt by the undercooked and almost cold vegetables, stringy mange tout and difficult to cut cauliflower. The sticky toffee pudding was, again, first class, the service staff were cheerful and willing, ut The Ship could 'up its game' in certain aspect of the food offering.Dear John T,We are sad to hear we did not provide you with the best possible experience. Lack of focus, carelessness and indifference is not what we are known for. We are sorry your experience was not reflective of our reputation. In future a manager on duty would happily change your veg if you prefer it to be cooked more. Our veg generally gets cooked al dente so as it retains all it's nutrients, but we appreciate different people have different tastes. It is thanks to feedback like yours that we can tackle issues that may impact our most valuable asset, our customers. Thanks again for your honest feedback,The Ship Management
