We arrived feeling famished! We chose this very reasonably priced Carvery. The meat and vegetables were beautifully cooked, This is the best place to go to for a Sunday carvery, the meat is always cooked to perfection. The vegetable selection was large and well presented. Great value and I am sure you will not be disappointed.

The menu looked great, with a lot of choice, so inside we ventured. Nice interior, clean, welcoming, good atmosphere. Service with a smile from the waitress, who was very helpful. The food was delicious, generous portions, nicely presented - nothing was too much trouble. Have recommended to friends already, and will be popping in again to try one of the other meals from the menu.

Henrys is a traditional style pub that serves meals throughout the day
Been coming here for years and they really must be congratulated for the maintaining of their very high standards. With a good and varied menu and served at an excellent price, their meals accompany and excellent and regularly changing selection of guest ales.

We are a friendly, family-run cafe/bar/restaurant set on the edge of beautiful Youngs Park. Just a stones throw from Goodrington Sands Beach. We welcome dogs and everyone else! Our food is freshly cooked from raw ingredients. From doorstep sandwiches to o
Absolutely awful service.Waited 15 min for 4 coffees after being asked to wait to one side for my order and watched while others joined the queue and received their drinks and cakes before me.When I questioned why I was told âwe have a system âObviously not!! Poor service, poor overpriced drinks and a completely chaotic queuing system with three queues filtering into one.My advice would be if you want food or drinks.......Go to the pub next door.

The food tasted nice and the separate gluten free menu was comprehensive (I had a gluten free panini for example, gluten free afternoon tea was an option). It was a greasy spoon type cafe however and the service was a bit lack-lustre, but putting that to one side there is nothing wrong with it. I asked for a filling in my panini which was available as a sandwich but not in the panini options and they happily made what I asked for.Overall a strong 4/5.

We are a family run business, based in the sunny Southwest town of Paignton. We are specialist tearoom and have a variety of loose leaf tea and the best coffee in the bay. We also pride ourselves in the variety of homemade cakes and scones on offer. We do
After reading previous reviews I was really looking forward to having a cream tea, unfortunately both the plain and fruit scones were dry to the point I needed tea to wash it down. My other gripe is that my wife asked for decaffeinated coffee and there was an additional charge which we were not told about when ordering.Dear dan78uk thankyou for your feed back. We are really upset and a little surprised at your comments as we take great pride in the quality of our food and drink. Indeed just this week we have had many many guests partaking of our renowned cream and afternoon teas and all other feed back we have received as been exceptional. With regard to the extra charge you mention, this is clearly shown on the menu and is added simply to reflect the extra costs we incur on the specialist decaf coffee we serve.

Torbay's premier sports bar, serving breakfast from 8am daily, full lunch/dinner menu from 12noon. We have a great selection of drinks and coffee and welcome 4 legged friends
We have family down here so are often in the area and found this gem about 2 years ago......Had the breakfast deal for £4.50 including tea or coffee on Sunday. All freshly cooked with a choice of fried bread or toast and instead of extra hash brown you could have more sausage, bacon or egg. Served till midday I think. It was amazing value, very tasty and good quality sausages and bacon. The best brekkie in Torbay!

Chefs Heather, Andrew, Mike and all the Staff look forward to welcoming you to TJâs. TJâs boasts an outside terrace and dining room with probably one of the best views in The Bay. Customers/friends can sit outside and encompass the most wonderful views of
Visited here while staying in Paignton for a week. The name suggests a diner serving burgers but it is actually a lovely little upstairs restaurant majoring on fish, overlooking the sea. Because we were near the front of the restaurant (but not on the balcony bit, which might be a bit chilly later on) we could see Torquay across the water gradually lighting up, which was very pretty.I treated myself to scallops followed by the lobster. The 3 large scallops were very nice and cooked just right. The lobster felt a little small for the price (I appreciate it is a very expensive fish) but was nicely cooked and has been well prepared - no need for all of the âequipmentâ required to dismantle and eat a lobster that has only been cooked. My wife enjoyed her vegetarian starter and main. We did not have dessert. Our bottle of white wine could have done with being a bit colder. It was understandably busy, as it deserved to be. Friendly and efficient staff. Sensible prices given the premium location.Recommended.

Always go by your recommendations so when I entered best Sunday lunch and Orestone Manor came up I booked I was advised the time shiw on there site was incorrect and we were booked in at 12.15 lunch time I stated I was allergic to Black peppers he went away to the Chef then came back to us saying all of there Sunday roasts were drenched in pepper all night and the roast potatoes I have never come across this before as they were advertising the roasts Beef, pork Chicken you would have thought that one of the three would have been supplied without adding pepperes I had to end up with fish for Sunday lunch not what I wanted I think they should advertise that they add these allergic items so people are aware Graham Thurston the fish was very good and the serviceWe are please you enjoyed the fish and service. Our website does clearly state our dinning times . However as with all restaurants time slots do get booked up. It sounds to me 12.15 was the only time slot we had available when you booked. I see from your booking that you booked through open table ( a third party booking agent). If you had phoned us directly we would have asked if you had any dietary requirements. We would have been more than happy to accommodate your pepper allergy had we known. Unfortunately the nature of a roast is the preparation beforehand hence the inflexibility. The Orestone Manor does always try to accommodate all allergies but it is best that we know upon booking. We do hope we can welcome you back to The Orestone but please phone us directly next time.
