Things to do in Moelfre
A beautiful, picturesque beach trip was topped off nicely by this quaint cafe in a tipi! We were so pleased to be able to get a cold pint of cask lager, a gin and tonic and a tasty pizza from a wood fire oven to enjoy whilst looking at stunning views. We also had a delicious ice cream from the kiosk. The staff were friendly and it was topped off by a local ukulele band playing for us. They tipi has regular live music we were informed.

Stopped by late afternoon and the place was quite full with a mixture of people having coffee/cake and snacks/full meals. Service was good and the food tasty. Great location and plenty off car parking available. Good selection of cakes, which were packaged for us to take away.

The Pebble Bistro on Benllech Beach promenade, provides a unique setting for superb unpretentious evening meals. The philosophy behind our food is simple - top quality ingredients, local produce, all cooked with honesty and integrity on our Aga which help
The food was good when it eventually arrived but the service very slow, also the restaurant was extremely cramped, my daughter and I sat on an uncomfortable bench, our feet not touching the ground therefore pins and needles, we are both 5ft 6in, heaven help smaller people. Our booking was at 7.45pm but they had already run out of dish of the day, the drinks menu was limited, only canned or bottled lager and house red or white wine, I had a white which was £5.00 for a small glass and was awful. All round very disappointing.

T for 2 a full English and a bacon egg barm - with fresh orange juice. Tasty quality food - took a while to cook but you know itâs all fresh for your order. We often have cup cakes made on site ! and a pot of tea Most enjoyable always. Terrific staff . Only losing one star because at busy times seem a little pressured in the cramped kitchen space and this causes extra delays.Lots of outdoor seating to enjoy the weather and views Will always support both shop and cafeThanks for being dog friendly and the gravy bones

We stopped here not knowing the area, it was approx 6 pm. It was very busy with many tables reserved. Luckily we were given a table and I ordered the pate and toast which was average and like the supermarket lower end type. The gammon was super salty and chips on 2 plates not crisp at all. Bit disappointing and we would not go back. Hi. Thankyou for taking the time to leave a review. I'm sorry you didn't like our pate. We buy the best Danish crown horseshoe gammons and cut them ourselves to get the best quality available, unfortunately the odd one can be salty. The chips are also the highest quality and I'm not sure how yours ended up not crisp. I'm sorry for your disappointing experience. It's a shame you didn't give us the opportunity to improve your experience while you were still here.

Set within an area of outstanding natural beauty only a short drive from the village of Pentraeth The Tavern benefits from idyllic coastal views of Red Wharf Bay & beyond. The Tavern defines itself as a waterfront Restaurant with classically trained chefs
Nine of us ate here on Sunday. All meals arrived together and were large portions. As it was Sunday the usual menu was limited with the focus on Sunday dinners, however several of us ate from the specials - not so limited an alternative. Views are amazing, looking forward to returning in better weather.

We had to sit outside as we had a dog. The views are gorgeous but rather cold on a October Saturday morning.Due to the no dog rules we didn't eat as it would go cold to quick.Drinks were ok but for an independent run business the staff or owner whoever served us was very unfriendly.Thank you for the review, we take comment on board good and bad! We do not allow dogs inside as personally i dont find it very hygienic, however we do allow them on the decking and in the front seating area! There are a few eateries in the village that allow dogs inside. The weather unfortunately isnt down to me and like you pointed out it was October! And onto your last point manners cost nothing i totally agree all the staff we have are very polite and courteous and chatty so find it odd you pointing this out however i will look into it , as its not nice having an off day is it!

So unassuming from outside but inside the food and service is fantastic. Great place to have a bacon sandwich for breakfast the bacon is delicious. Friends stayed with us and we couldn't keep them away, kept going back for afternoon tea, coffee and scrumptious cakes! The owners and staff were really friendly and accommodating. Great take away food also.
