It's worth noting that this restaurant is very expensive to eat in but we had cream tea here and it was beautiful. There is a gorgeous sitting room for afternoon tea and restaurant tables for breakfast and evening meal. It's beautifully decorated and light and airy with very good service. The scones were amazing, still warm and so fresh, got two each with jam and cream and pot of coffee, a lovely treat

Having visited the next door Black Sheep tap and having enjoyed a good visit we were very disappointed at our visit here. There were four staff either serving or looking after the tables and not one smiled once. The locals who came in were very loud and obnoxious and this was a Saturday afternoon but the staff cannot be blamed for that but allowed these people to be loud and make the atmopshere very unwelcoming especially when thei average age was 50 plus !We can only praise the beer whihc was excellently kept for the one we had but obviously we did not stay for a second !Maybe picked a bad day !

Booked into the bistro after reading the reviews and received a nice dining experience. Very pleasant staff showed us to our table and after searching the menu decided to order the mixed olives and bread for starters, my wife had the duck and I had the riggwelter pie for our mains. Very nice meals indeed and as my wife is coeliac the staff informed us of what could be made gluten free or what was already gluten free on the menu. There were quite a few in the bistro but not all dining at the time we were there. Just as we were about to depart, 2 minibuses arrived full of customers so they were in for a late night as tables had been reserved. Would definitely use again if in the area but booking a table would be a must.

We visited with the intention of buying dinner but with the complication of multiple allergies. Staff checked the folder and secondary checked the ingredients on packets to ensure all allergies were tailored to. Nothing was too much trouble. Food tasted amazing. Quality food at affordable prices. Food seasoned to perfection by our international chef. Located on the Masham Caravan Park. Surrounded by picturesque national park with lots to visit and to enjoy the relaxing nature. BANK HOLIDAY MONDAY WE ARE OPEN.
Due to the sheep fair being on, we could not get parked to enjoy our usual cafe in Masham for a cheeky Saturday full English treat.Having never been to the Old Station before, we decided to chance it on the way past.Very glad we did as they served the best full English weâve had for a long time. A lovely setting and very friendly and welcoming staff.Weâll certainly return.

Vennell's is a stunning grade II listed building in the heart of Masham an area of outstanding beauty. The food is clean, unfussy and heavily influenced by the area that surrounds it. Local meat and game feature heavily, fish and shellfish from the north
Lovely little place with fantastic food. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. Would definitely call again when next in Masham.
