Booked a table for four of us. When we arrived the lady at the bar just pointed to where our table was. Ordered the seafood sharer starter. It wasnât great. The prawns were nice in it but the crab claws were disgusting!!! Our mains arrived and 3 out of 4 of us wasnât impressed. They were bland and tasteless. The one good meal was fish and chips. The setting was lovely however and the decor was very modern and clean. Prices are cheap but itâs still not worth coming to if you are not going to enjoy your food.

what a beautiful spot, possibly one of the best locations for a pub i have ever known, just a shame about the pub itself. it is not terrible but if it was not for the view it is not somewhere i would go.the bitter was much to cold, such a shame to have a nice pint of local bitter be ruined by not being kept at the correct temperature, the food we had was ok it was basically a KFC bucket of chicken just 4 times the price. the main problem was the staff kept over charging for the drinks, don't know if this is policy or incompetence but over the 3 visits i went there this happened once each visit, only 20/40p but if they did this to every one it would add up!it is such a lovely location though i would go back just eat before and keep an eye on my change

There was a good choice of food, breakfast and dinner. Roast potatoes were nice, but bottom ones were sitting in oil. They seem to have some sort of butter on all veg, not very healthy. Staff very friendly and waiting staff, nothing was too much trouble. Entertainment was very good, garden lodge room was really nice.

The food is very good the wine is a reasonable price. Have been going now for a number of years and never had a bad experience. The students are very keen to serve you and are always very polite and attentive.

Were going to have lunch on the Pier then spotted Perrys up a side street. Glad we did. Spotless, simply furnished restaurant serving some of the best fish and chips we have tasted. The medium haddock was so fresh and the chips were delicious. Portions were huge and came complete with bread and butter and a mug of tea. Friendly and fast service, definitely with a smile. Don't be put off by the exterior, this place is a gem.

We always visit here when in Pakefield and have the chicken and chips. We were a bit put out that the price had increased since last year, but it was still plentiful and tasty. There is a good selection of ales. I drank the Adnams Ghost Ship, which was very good. It does get very noisy inside the pub - very busy - so we sat outside. Worth visiting.

We had a fabulous meal in this restaurant. We ordered the meze board to share followed by grilled plaice with new potatoes and roasted skate with chips. Such generous portions and beautifully cooked and presented. The staff are all friendly and very efficient. It is only a small restaurant so book ahead if you donât want to be disappointed.
