We enjoyed a Saturday night dinner whilst staying at Talland Bay.The building has been restored and converted to a high standard, with great decor. Very friendly staff. We shared nibbles, nuts, olives and hummus. The hummus was particularly delicious.I opted for sea bass whilst my wife had sea bream, we shared buttered potatoes and a Asian salad. All of which was delicious and well cooked (especially the Asian salad). My only criticism would be that the menu didnât highlight that the sea bass was farmed. We shared brownie with peanut butter ice cream for pudding.Attentive service, great to see a restaurant full in October too. I really hope this pls e is successful and remains a feature for Looe.

Beach Cafe with parking for 60 cars and direct access to the beach. Open daily for light lunches, eat in or take-away. 10 Flavours of local ice cream, cream teas, fresh crab sandwiches and much more. We also have a beach shop selling wetsuits, beach shoes
What a lovely surprise to find this as we approached Talland Bay. Managed to get a table right by the beachside. Had coffee which was served in brightly coloured striped cups, which I loved. We also had some prawn sandwiches which were lovely and fresh. A very clean establishment. Not your usual beach cafe, a very upmarket beach cafe I would say. There is also parking at the cafe but I would recommend walking along the coast path, spectacular scenery. You must pay a visit!!!

Glad we booked as the place was busy and I doubt we would have got in. This was a Thursday and not during school holidays. The food was good. For starters we had deep fried brie and thai fish cakes. Portion sizes were good. For mains we had medium fish and chips, thai fish cakes and a kids fish and chips. All good quality, the only thing that was confusing was 4 fish cakes as the main but no chips. Perhaps this would be better as 3 fish cakes and some chips. Either way we shared it out and we were all good.Pudding was a cinnamon waffle and several spoons. Lovely. We've only docked a point because of the slightly odd main and that my wife felt the fish cakes weren't quite as good a thai restaurant. (We shall find out tonight as we are going thai).

Great Seafood restaurant with a beautiful view of Looe. Please call to book in advance to avoid disappointment. If you have any allergies or specific dietary requirements please let us know before you arrive.
This has to have been one of the best meals I have ever eaten. The whole place was amazing; the setting, the staff and the food all simply devine. Our fish was cooked to perfection, so fresh and delicious with such complimentary flavours. The food was so good, we stuffed ourselves on 3 courses as didnât want to miss the experience. Sat in awe watching the chef cook and prepare so calmly with a great team around him. Table service exactly the right level. Definitely recommend booking ahead as restaurant was full. If you are staying in Looe, it is more than worth the walk up the hill. We drove an hour to eat here and we would do it again!

Nice food and a range of portion sizes. Buttered toast was delicious! Really lovely bread. Nice coffee too. Small, especially when it's a little too cool to sit outside, but a nice place for a brunch stop.

We had just completed our coast walk and spotted this colourful cafe snuggled by the pathway overlooking the beachThe garden looked so inviting that we found a seat and ordered a quick snack and coffee,This garden was packed and the food was delivered cheerfully. They only have a tiny kitchen big enough for two but it just goes to show that a positive happy service is the main ingredient to the customers enjoyment. We really enjoyed our snack and it was the perfect end to a perfect day.
