Clockworks is a bar and restaurant inspired by the era of industrial invention, serving Brunch, Dinner, Drinks and Rock & Roll. Open early till' late every day.
Walking back to the car park we came across âClockworksâ in Wolstenholme Square, originally we popped in for a quick sandwich intending to have a roast dinner much later, but when we saw and smelt their roast we couldnât resist. The dinner is way to big for mum and I so we asked the very friendly staff if it would be ok if we shared, not a problem, neither was mixing a concoction of Fruit to make me a soft drink. Nothing was a problem, they lived up to the saying the customer is always right. They greeted us as soon as we walked through the door as if we were old friends. Chatting with us while taking our orders and made us feel like they were sorry to see us go. The roast beef slices were massive and very tasty, the red wine gravy was delish so were the honey glazed carrots (how do they get them like that!) the roasties were crisp outside and fluffy inside, I let mum have the rest of the veg as I am not a veg person. Yorkshire pud was massive and crispy. All in all we had a lovely roast beef lunch. Saved the sandwich for later. The bar itself was very cosy and relaxed, a mix of families older and younger couples, shoppers and tourists. I would defo recommend, I might give a Friday night a go too as they have live bands playing.

The Art School Restaurant is completely unique. We have tried to embrace the features of the original building and have blended in modern facilities. With warm lighting, a viewing window through to the kitchen, a relaxing bar and a fabulous dining area. S

Cooking for us revolved around learning from our Grandmothers, fathers and friends. It felt right to build a restaurant as a family, sharing the food that has always been close to our hearts. Alex an experienced Chef of nearly twenty years, Antonia an ex
I donât leave reviews often but this place deserves a good one. We booked as it is small and I really wanted to try it out. We all enjoyed the food. Small plates of deliciousness. Particular mention for the ox cheek stew, pork belly, roast cauliflower in satay, curry, padron peppers and sweet potato fries. The apple cheese cake was also amazing. Just go and try it. We were 5 people and had 9 small plates plus 6 sides and we were full. With cocktails and drinks we spent £112 which I think was worth every penny. If I lived in Liverpool I would eat here often.Hi Thankyou for your recent visit and taking the time to write a review. What a fantastic review, itâs gives us great satisfaction when reading about our food, drink and service. Great choice of dishes, we will pass your positive feedback to the team. Hope to see you again soonTeam Heritage

100% vegan cafe in Woolton Village, Liverpool. (Hopefully) showing everyone that vegan food is NORMAL, and also very nice!!!
We came here for a change and to experience a new cafe, after reading some great reviews. We weren't disappointed. This is a great relaxing place to come. The atmosphere is chilled, the staff are very friendly and attentive, the service is great. And the food on offer is fantastic, from breakfasts, through hot dogs and burgers, to more healthy salad bowls, and a fine range of glorious cakes to finish off with. The price of this food is great value, and you can also donate your change to help give food and drink to a homeless person. Ethical, family run, great home cooking, relaxing place to be - there's a lot to attract you to this venue. And after - there are many other reasons to come here. The Woolton Cinema is an experience in itself if you've never been there, Eleanor Rigby's grave is around the back, Woolton Woods are nearby, and many other things to do and see.So take a moment to look a bit further out of town, it's well worth the effort!

We are a Coffee Shop based in the heart of Liverpool City Centre. We pride ourselves on using as many local suppliers as possible.
Really nice little cafe, family run and I mean the people working there are all family. Simple menu but well done with warmth and what we might call "Liverpool charm" and I mean down to earth, friendly and relaxed. Easy to become a regular here :-)

Cosy little corner of Lark Lane, Liverpool. Relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff and a top notch menu of lovely British food.
Have visited here four times now. Every time amazing food . Can recommend the vegetarian sausages the waffles and the sharing platter. They have food to suit all pallets and go out of their way to make sure all is suitable for every diet or those with lactose or gluten special . We went in for lunch today great service and the platter was lovely. They have a wide menu and vegan and vegetarian options. A wide range of cakes and milkshakes . Looking forward to next visit to try more off the menu. Staff are very friendly and happy to help . Great little gem on lark lane . Definitely worth a visit.

Located within the luxury Dixie Dean Hotel. The 160-cover restaurant and bar â named âNo 9â after the number worn by Dixie Dean will showcase a âmodern boutique style hotelâ inspired by the history of the Grade-II listed gothic Jerome & Carlisle building.
Wonderful afternoon tea for my mother in laws birthday. Family ranged from 12-80+ and everybody enjoyed the experience. The food was excellent with a lovely âEvertonâ twist, fantastic generous portions too. Service was really good, and very friendly special thanks to Michael D. We will definitely be back.
