10/10 would recommend. Food is fresh and delicious and staff are really friendly. Great atmosphere and very busy considering it's just off the high street. The menu is really extensive and I'd recommend the Tuscan pork and bean casserole. Will be back to try their Pizza Night on Friday as I've heard their pizzas are the best in Lincoln :)

Theres nothing to dislike about this place, it's a charming 1940s style tearoom that doesn't stick itself in your face.Music is unobtrusive, service is a little relaxed at times but the food more than makes up for it.If you find yourself running out of puff as you climb the steep hill, treat yourself to a little break here, it's worth it.

Of former Master Chef acclaim, Eamonn Hunt brings fine dining to the historic centre of Lincoln with his latest venture Eamonn's 38 Newport.
The new offering at Eamonn's is a lovely roast beef Sunday lunch- and it didn't disappoint!Well cooked (and a generous portion) of beef, roast potatoes, fantastic gravy, onion, peas, yorkshire pudding , carrots, broccolli and beetroot, all perfectly cooked.Dessert didn't disappoint either- a lovely mousse that I just had space for.Very good value and would highly recommend.Booking very advisable as places for this new sunday offering will fill up fast once word gets round.I'd say this is the best Sunday roast I've ever eaten out, way above the norm.

Heard lots of great comments about this place so we thought we'd give it a try. We weren't disappointed, despite being very busy we were quickly seated Dan our waiter was so knowledgeable about the specials, the vegetarian and vegan menu. I went for his suggestion of the buttermilk chicken burger, it was so good!! My husband went for the Mexican afternoon tea for 1, which yes I tried and was also really good. The scone was the best I've tasted, must be homemade. I was surprised there was no hot chocolate on the menu as the weather was poor, but despite the rain didnt dampen our spirits! 100% recommend.
