We had 2 Sunday lunches and a vegetarian Wellington. Sunday lunch good value £10.50 for 2 courses. Food was delicious and piping hot. Chocolate peanut cheesecake was gorgeous. The mushroom Wellington could have done with being a bit larger portion, especially as it was more expensive than the meat meals, however, it was delicious. The people were very friendly and the service was good. Will definitely be going there again soon. Lovely little pub.

Whilst exploring Ironbridge with friends and trying to locate some Lardy cake, we discovered this little tea shop, at the top end of the high street. I say little, because i think it only seats 10 people (upstairs). However, what a great little find. We soon got seated and ordered cream tea, coffees and more cake (sadly, no lardy cake on that day). Fine bone china tea cups and teapot were of the order. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the cakes and drinks. Although, I have to say that the scones weren't very big, but they were delicious. The staff were great and we had a chat with the owner who couldn't have been any nicer. Everything was reasonably priced, considering the historic location.

Popped to Ironbridge after a drive around the countryside, this cafe is tucked up a corner and only has a few tables inside with a few outside. We sat inside, the waitress took our order and said the food would be about 20 minutes which was fine, as it is all made fresh, drinks arrived quickly.I ordered the Ploughmanâs Lunch which was very good, my wife had a prawn sandwich, which she enjoyed, we also ordered some fried potatoes which were great, not sure how they are made but they looked like a Jacket potato sliced and fried, the coffee was also good.Overall the service and food were very good with friendly and helpful staff, would definitely return.

We called in at lunch time for a quick drink after visiting the nearby Tile Museum, and were impressed by the friendly welcome. We came back to eat the following night and had very satisfying meals for decent prices. There was a mixture of locals and visitors, both from the UK and further afield; we heard American and Australian accents. Service was helpful, friendly and efficient. I had the best flavoured faggots ever (if you don't know what they are, think meatballs) with cheesy mash potatoes and mushy peas, topped off with onion gravy- British pub classic!

Went for a meal last night on our anniversary. We have been going to D'arcys for years and have always had superb food and outstanding service - the waiting staff are a credit to the establishment; attentive but not intrusive.Last night, though, the food went to another level. I had smoked haddock in a parmesan crust off the specials menu and it was simply amazing! By far the best smoked haddock I have ever tasted. There is a reason this place is nearly always full....it is brilliant at everything! Thank you.

We popped here on Saturday afternoon for a drink outside as the weather was mild. Itâs perfect to watch the world go by with lovely views. Drinks were nice and reasonable, we didnât eat but the sharing platters that went past looked delightful. worth a visit.

This was just a hundred metres from our Airbnb but I recommend booking and traveling. Certainly if your anywhere visiting Ironbridge you need to come here. Run by an unpretentious but lovey couple who serve food cooked specifically for you. Iâd read the reviews and was waiting in anticipation of my bread to arrive and wasnât discovered with the soft date bread. I could of eaten the loaf but saved room for the crostini where the mushroom was so intense. The main of Lamb was light on the stomach but rich on taste and the tiny drizzles of mint way beyond any mint sauce Iâve had before. By the time summer pudding arrived my husband had melted into joy. We finished with a choice of whisky and my Irish coffee was served to perfection. If you thought that was all good wait for the candid pink grapefruit!

Part of the Best Western Valley hotel. Plenty of parking. Varied selection of food including daily specials. Excellent customer service and care and a very slick operation, taking your order whilst in the bar area then seating just before the food comes out. The food is also beautifully presented. Cosy atmosphere. Booking advisable at busy times.

Restaurant Severn came highly recommended by a family member and certainly did not disappoint. Ideal for that special meal with family/friends or just the two of you. Food is excellent; the dining room is light and airy with the tables not too close together. Wonderful lunch after walking along the Severn.
