Took my mum here yesterday for some lunch. It was my first time sitting inside. The windows, lights and walls were absolutely filthy! There were cobwebs hanging from the lights and walls. There were spiders on the inside of the windows and the windows were dirty. Inside the lamp shades were filthy too. Our toasties were ok but I could tell the toast or machine needed a clean also as there were black spots all over it. Itâs also not cheap.

I took the family out for a meal before my 12 & 14 year old went back to school as my little one wanted steak. I am a vegetarian so a steakhouse is not an obvious place to go but looking at the menu there was a few things so I would be okThe steak was ok but everything else which we had was disgusting and a waste of money My veggie meals were not consumable and tbh I wouldnât feed them to my dogReally disappointing and itâs a horrible waste of moneyDear MonaLaw!We are extremely sad to hear about your negative experience with us. We work really hard to provide an excellent service and we are really sorry to see that we let you down on this occasion. We always encourage our guest to tell us if there is something wrong in the house so we can correct our mistake and turn around the experience into a positive one.We can only hope you will give us and our vegetarian options another chance to prove what an excellent restaurant we are and we go above just serving excellent steaks.Thank you again for providing us your feedback and we wish you have an amazing day!Kind regards,The management team,Miller & Carter Harrow

Our 3rd visit to this restaurant in as many years On previous occasions I have always ordered fish which has been splendid see previous review As I love fish cakes which were described as home made with various fish and salmon I was enticed I have to say they were a disgrace to the name I ate half of one and disecected the other but could find no evidence of fish but potatoe onlyThe description of these in such a venerable establishment is silly Bearing in mind there must be loads of spare bits of fish left around it should not be beyond their abilityto include some in home made foodWe were with very regular customers on first name terms so did not wish to cause themembarrassment but did point my disappointment to the waiter and was not charged for an ice creamEither take them off the menue or make them properly

We had a nice view from our window seat...we ordered our tea & coffee plus our full English breakfast from the waitress. Additional items were self service: juice, toast, pastries, cereals, jams, honey, yoghurts & fruits! It was a very nice breakfast & not rushed at all! I especially liked the fresh creamy yogurt which I added honey to! & I believe you could also opt to have breakfast in your room too! We stayed in a garden lodge room, so it was only a 2 minute walk!

With no planning we decided on a family lunch at the White Horse on Harrow on the Hill; 8 adults and two babies.Nice friendly welcome and were shown to our table, good service - offered drinks immediately and no rush to get us fed which was nice. The food on offer was a good range of pub fare, and we had a range of chice from the menu - burgers to a sunday roast. The food arrived all at the same time - which is pretty unusual! well presented, well cooked and piping hot.Service was excellent and the staff were really friendly - the babies slept through lunch. Great meal out.

We dined here early one saturday evening as a party of seven with two small children. The pub had a really lovely atmosphere and was warm and cosy. The staff were very patient with the children and gave them colouring in kits with crayons. The menu was extensive and I had the chateaubriand with my husband. It was sensational.Dear The_Wylie_Coyote, thank you very much for leaving us such an amazing feedback. It's great to see you and your family enjoyed dinner at The Hare. Hope we can see you again. Kind Regards, Denisa

The fish and chips here are excellent. Just about everything cooked to order and with so popular that your food is always going to be fresh. We have tried the cod, scampi, sausages and chicken at various times and everything was of great quality. The portions are large and so you will never be left feeling hungry. If you are in the area definitely give the Ideal Fish Bar a try.

Due to renovations we will be closed for the first two weeks in September - many apologies for the inconvenience
I have just run a two day training for the lovely NHS Paediatric Speech and Language Team at Chalkhill Community Centre, and had the pleasure of meeting amazing Marie and her wonderful staff at this superb community café! I had two gorgeous lunches here. The menu is so fresh and versatile. How the staff kept going in the heat this week is truly award-winning. They did stand the heat, and they didn't get out of the kitchen! The atmosphere and service is friendly and social medicine in itself....hope to visit again. How utterly delightful for myself and the team to read this - this is what keeps us going - no matter what the temperature !
