Welcome to the Toby Carvery Gravesend. When it comes to roast dinners, we really know our stuff. Every day our chefs lay on a feast of tender, hand-carved meats with all the trimmings â including towering Yorkshire puds, golden roasties with all those lov
This Toby Carvery has never failed to disappoint. The staff, mostly European, are helpful and friendly - what will happen to them if there is a âno dealâ Brexit? Unfortunately establishments like this will suffer as a result. As regards the food; the carvery is always fresh as there is a good turnover of customers. A good selection of vegetables which you help yourself to. You can always compensate with the vegetables if the chef on duty is a bit mean with the meat.John L, thank you for your kind review; we are happy to pass along your comments to the team here at Toby Carvery Gravesend!

The Robert Pocock is located in the middle of Gravesend high street, off Windmill Street. We also have another entrance to the pub off Stone Street. There are numerous public car parking facilities close by and buses pass through Gravesend High Street reg
Always rate the breakfast here, normally good but visited here Friday morning and was disappointed...food was cold, hardly any beans on my breakfast.my boyfriend had his sausages missing from his vegan breakfast, had to find someone to to get them..The best bit was the nice young lady think her name was Billie who delivered our breakfast with a smile, and made sure we had everything we needed. Hi sharongA4649TV,Thank you very much for your review and your lovely feedback about Billie! She is a very appreciated member of our team and I'll be sure to pass it along :)I am however very sorry your breakfasts were not up to standard on this occasion. We would have been more than happy to replace for you but I do appreciate we should have got it right first time!I sincerely hope your next visit will be back to the top standards you're used to having from us.We hope to see you again very soon,Kind Regards,Lauren De SouzaPub Manager

TJ's is a traditional public house located in Gravesend with a lovely garden and catered function room - offering a wide selection of drinks and food, whilst also regularly hosting events and providing catering for our customers.
This pub bucks the trend of 'yob' hostelries in Gravesend. The manager puts up with no nonsense and runs a very clean, respectable and friendly establishment. The smoking room outside is great and well-furnished. The really is nothing negative to say about this excellent venue.

I took my daughter out for lunch here and it was busy but we were so happy to get a table. What a friendly, comfortable little place. We both ordered a quiche and salad. We chose a different one each and shared them. They were delicious and the side salad was generous and contained a nice variety of ingredients. We were then tempted by the Pecan and Salted caramel cake which again we shared. Amazing! Will definitely return and hope we can get a table!

Well very disappointed, fish perfect but Iâve never tasted or had such horrible chips, oily, tasted oily, cold and soft. I have used this shop for years and itâs always lived up to its awards but not now. Shame Thank you for your review Iâm glad to hear that you have been using us for many years and we have always lived up to expectations but Iâm also sorry to hear about your experience with us last time you came in I can only say that we are at the moment frying new potatoes which are slightly different texture to the main crop which is from September to June . I hope this wonât affect you coming back to us again and to use us for many more years please do not worry about getting in contact with Jack at the shop and ask to speak to him as he would love to put this right for you thank you

Our restaurant 'The Block House' brings modern dining to the historic market town of Gravesend. Open all day The Clarendon Royal Hotel offers imaginative dining seven days a week. The sesaonal A La Carte Menu & seperate bar menu are available 7 days a wee
My husband and I took my elderly mother to the Clarendon hotel restaurant today. My mother needs a wheelchair and it was problematic finding a restaurant with wheelchair access near the river serving the traditional English food my mother would enjoy. On arrival at the restaurant we were welcomed by the friendly staff. The food was excellent and reasonably priced, and I would definitely go to the Clarendon again.

We popped into the pub for lunch after doing one of the many escape rooms in Gravesend. It is a classic English pub - lots of little rooms but with a nice balcony and outdoor seating by the river. The choice of beers was good - lots of local options. The food was decent. I had a ploughmanâs and cannot complain. The portion was huge! My family had club sandwiches and scampi and were happy. Next to the pub is the Light Vessel 17 which was open to the public. Itâs opening hours are subject to the tide. It was incredibly interesting. So go and do an escape room in the morning, have lunch and a beer at The Three Daws and visit LV17 if itâs open. Sorted.
