A beautiful and charming 15th Century pub, perfectly situated on the A1120 tourist road en-route to the famous Suffolk coast. We have a large beer garden to the side which overlooks the bowling green, and further seating to the front. With ample car parki
The White Horse is a picturesque sight from the A1120 tourist route through Suffolk. An excellent selection of local ales and a really impressive menu at fair prices for excellent home made food both in the restaurant and on the terrace at lunch time.. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Every year we rent a place just outside a Framlingham for a long weekend around my wifeâs birthday. As we have family in Suffolk, we sometimes meet up at the Crown Inn near Brundish for their Sunday lunch feast which is possibly the best Sunday lunch you can buy. £10.95 or beef or lamb with cheesy mashed Swede, roasted cabbage with apricot, creamy peas, roast potatoes and yorkshires. £3.95 for sticky toffee pudding with ice cream or custard. 4 of us dined like kings for £64. Good quality food and plenty of it on plates the size of platters. Absolutely delicious and filling... we even had leftovers! The service is personal, friendly and welcoming. We hear that the owners have the pub up for sale as they are planning to retire after 25 years running the place. So if you want the best Sunday lunch ever, youâd better book now as Iâm sure itâll never be as good under new ownership, though I hope they keep up to the current high standard. Iâm sure weâll book again next November 2019, and Iâll let you all know.

Very pleasant surroundings. Internally, well-maintained and comfortable with a very pleasant coaching inn ambience. Efficient service. Reasonably priced menu. Food was acceptable rather than exceptional. Overall, an enjoyable occasion.

A typical English country pub on the outskirts of Framlingham & next to Framlingham Castle, serving local ales in prim condition with pub type food and country food specials all sauced locally and produced in house. Tea and coffee with cakes is available
Called in here for a pub lunch before visiting the Castle. Seemed a friendly pub though the girl serving food was a bit grumpy. Didn't affect the food we had. Younger children in the party were welcomed as well.Would use it again.

Loving local food, loving social food and loving . We bring Suffolk food and drink to share, french and English
Ordered Croquet Monsieur which was fantastic, side salad had mustard dressing which wasnât so nice! Waitress very friendly and efficient. Let down by payment experience whilst standing at counter waiting to pay final bill (French chap maybe owner) carried on having chat with other member of staff whilst completed ignoring me & made me wait- perhaps I should have walked out without paying he may have noticed me then!!

Booked a table for 5 for Motherâs Day. Our table was ready 5 minutes early. We got drinks at the bar and the waitress was soon taking our order. You go up to the counter for the carvery and the slices of meat were very thick and you could say how much you wanted. It was all delicious. We had a range of deserts including profiteroles and treacle pudding. All great. Bill came to under £80 for five of us including the drinks. Staff were really friendly

found by chance when staying nearby. Had evening meal, quality was top notch portion size was perfect. Plenty of choice on the menu to suit all tastes. The two young ladies covering the bar and food service were very polite and helpful without being overly attentive.

There's a warm welcome waiting for you, your children and your furry friends at The Railway Inn, Framlingham. The new owners Darren and Alex welcome you to this is a truly traditional English Pub with a large front bar which boasts bar stools, bar seating
Overall this pub is nice but I wouldnât say anything overly special. Lady (who believe is probably landlady) was really friendly and accommodating, the food was lovely and I canât fault it however the menu was rather basic in comparison to others around the area. Overall I wasnât awe inspired over this place and it just didnât stand out on this occasion.

The Station in Framlingham has been offering good food and excellent locally brewed Earl Soham bitter for the past 15 years. A very busy established pub with great atmosphere in a casual and relaxed setting. The menu is honest and robust with the emphasis
First of all we had a really pleasant evening. The atmosphere is always buzzy, but never raucous and the staff are all good fun too. The menu is not huge which is a good sign, but thereâs always a varied choice so I was horrified when my friend chose the same main as me as I love trying everything.Anyway, the pate was nice, well presented and as ever a decent size portion. The oysters were good too. Plump and juicy and a fair size too. However they could have been served with something more than a wedge of lemon, i.e. some crusty bread and an additional dressing. We both had the hake with samphire and a pea and lemon risotto. The fish was perfect, I can still taste it now. The risotto was equally as nice with the lemon helping to cut through the dish. The samphire added natural salt to the dish however I still felt that overall it was under seasoned. Just some cracked black pepper and salt over the fish with a further dash of fresh lemon IMO would have lifted the dish a notch. The beer is good by the way and for restaurant quality food itâs excellent value for money.

Social cafe providing high quality food at affordable prices, in a relaxing and friendly atmosphere. Everything we serve is sourced as locally as possible, and is all prepared and cooked on the premises.
We enjoyed delicious kedgeree in this well-run, cozy restaurant in the centre of Framlingham. The restaurant is compact but has lots of character, thanks to the owner's extensive vintage vinyl collection and his great choice of music.
