Seven of us celebrated my daughter's birthday in style at this excellent restaurant. All chose the £15 two course option. The steaks were listed as 'mini 8oz' but they looked more like 12oz and were cooked to perfection. Add to that the garnishing and sauces and we had a meal to remember! Service was brilliant, from the manager who took our order to the staff who served it and the waitress who brought in the cake and took photos of the occasion. They could not have been more friendly and helpful. Add to that a relaxed atmosphere and an unhurried ambience and you have a perfect evening.

Cannot recommend this wee hidden treasure enough. Stopped off during a shopping trip to enniskillen with my 3 children. On first site we were greeted by the most amazing scenery and then the smell of yummyness. We were greeted by a extremly friendly gentleman who instantly communicated with my children on their level, to which is a BIG massive plus point. We were given the choice of 3 seatings bar, restaurant or picnic seating outside. The latter being our choice. As it was such a beautiful day. Drinks were swiftly brought to us and order taken despite my changing mind as everything sounded very appealing. We went for kids meal of chicken burgers and steak burger for myself. Just melted in my mouth was absolutely divine.Cleanliness was very much noticed. Staff and management is a credit to this wee treasure. I will take much delight in recommending The Moorings to everyone.

We where on our way back from a conference in Castlebar (heading to Belfast) and my ride said we would stop in this attractive and large restaurant on the way home. The menu looked reasonably good, but the food was rather uninspiring. I had the Salmon which was cooked well but lacked much flavor. My dining companions also were not thrilled with their meals. It is truly we were tired and not at our best, but I suspect the kitchen could say the same.

Had dinner as part of our package in the Lough Erne Resort. The surrounding were lovely, facing into sunshine over the lake. Menu good and service good a little slow but it is a fine dining experience. Food was very good but like the resort a bit on the pricey side but worth a visit.Good morning Geojon and thank you very much for writing your review after your recent fine dining experience at the Catalina restaurant. I am delighted that you enjoyed the food and were able to take in the beautiful views of the lough from the restaurant. I do apologise as the service you received was a little slow on that evening, but glad that it did not spoil your experience. I am very grateful for your feedback and comments and will look forward to welcoming you back to the Resort in the future.

First visit and not disappointed. Lovely pleasant greeting. Drinks order taken then food order. Service , presentation of food was first class. Our waitress asked would we like a photo (as we were trying to take ourselves) and I said yes that would be lovely as itâs our Anniversary. After our starter and mains I ordered dessert, husband was just having coffee, when it was brought out they had brought out my husband a dessert of ice cream on a slate board as was my cheesecake With a lovely âHappy Anniversaryâ decorated on it. Could not fault anything. On our doorstep and will def be back. Thank you .

A traditional Irish Pub and a City style Bistro, Wine Bar & Restaurant, serving the best of local produce from 10am to 11pm 7 days a week. Family owned and managed since 1967. A warm welcome awaits you.
We visited on a weekday evening for a meal. It was quiet, so we were served quickly, and the staff are very friendly, efficient and polite. It is a down to earth pub which has an extensive and varied menu & serves great meals, which are tasty, generous portions, and at a good price. Would recommend it.

Tucked away so that it was difficult to find, and it as downstairs. We were quite apprehensive until we entered the restaurant area -- beautiful decor, and gracious people. Our waiter was very new, and he had to go back and ask the manager questions several times, but even that was both quaint and informative, as he explained that he was from Poland, and we learned that many young people from Poland were in Ireland, as there is more work there. The food was good, and the wine delightful.

Early afternoon lunch & fairly quiet however became busy around 2pm. Chicken Burgers were divine. As a personal preference, I would have preferred the baps to be toasted. Loved the salad and the chips were chunks very dry and fluffy inside. Service was friendly yet professional and prompt. The table next to us put the server through almost every dish on the menu asking how it was cooked, what spices etc He knew every detail and patiently explained everything. Everywhere inc toilets was clean and neat. The car parking spaces are very generous so no squeezing out between cars! Good value for money and defo will visit again

i booked with the proviso that we had only from 5.30 to 7.15 as we had a meeting. the service was slick and charming, the staff included chefs wife and a newly qualified dentist, the menu was small so reassured us that the food would be fresh cooked, the little touches of beautiful homemade fine crisps a tiny little home made mini loaf, and a delicious water ice between courses, we chose duck pettifer, which was dainty and full of flavour for my husband , followed by hake , properly cooked and beautifully presented, my baked beetroot with goats cheese and tiny squares of beetroot jelly was very moreish i was introduced to strip loin which was a good size sirloin with all the inedible parts removed, also flavoursome and well dressed, sugared carrots parsnip and i think turnip and soft creamed potato and 2 scrumptious panacottas and a glass of wine each and we were leaving at 7.15 on the dot a truly delightful experience, which we will be repeating again as soon as we can.
