Cramped seating with too many cushions but looked forward to the pleasure of home cooked fresh food.Total disappointment, soup too salty, bread almost inedible. Service very slow, prices very high and we were also unfortunately overcharged. We love Dufftown but will not be visiting Noah's Ark again. We care for people who visit Fournet House and therefore we have really tried to ensure that this care is reflected both in the decor and the food in Noah's Ark licensed bistro, which is one very important part of the whole of what is offered at Fournet. . We are very, very concerned that these particular people did not enjoy their experience and would much prefer to have been told at the time when it might have been possible to improve, or change their views. Fortunately, many, many more other people really enjoy what we try to do. Thank you all for your support.

We booked dinner at 57 on our first night at Dowans. We began with drinks in the bright and light bar, where the cocktails were great, and the service impeccable. We moved to the restaurant, having ordered our meals and wine while having drinks. Service was beatifully measured, and the staff were engaging and respectful. The food was excellent, and the quantities generous without being excessive. A range of pasta and pizza dishes is available, but really the focus is on the more involved dishes, such as scallops and lobster. Overall, could not be faulted. Well done all.
Local produce. Homemade from the furniture to the food. Fresh sandwiches, wraps, softie's, baked tatties, sausage rolls and shortrib stovies. Award winning Haggis from just a few doors down.
A queue out the door at lunchtime for this place! We sampled alot of the menu, toasties, halloumi slider, absolutely gorgeous homemade soup and the best Macaroni cheese I've ever had! Everything is local produce and homemade. Couple are warm and obviously enjoy what they do. Amazing value for the quality of the food. Plenty vegetarian and vegan options which is highly unusual for a small town in northern Scotland. I will be back tomorrow and will miss this place.

Every time we visit Dufftown we have a haggis supper from DJ Chippie. Always perfectly cooked and excellent value.

A Speyside secret turned famous by our award-winning chef Addy Daggert. If he's not working on another world-awarded recipe, he'll be serving up seasonal food on a menu that changes each week. Giving you the very best local ingredients.Sit by an open fire
I had to reschedule my day as the rain had kicked in. Rather than walk, I decided to visit a few distilleries. By the time I got to Glenfiddich, I was hungry. I opted for a Fiddich pie, fries and a cup of Cullen Skink. Iâm getting a bit of an aficionado of Skink and this was outstanding. Loads of cream, onion and smoked fish. The bar was really busy, but the staff were on point. The distilleries are really getting the message with regard to visitors and Glenfiddich are on point.

Sidings is a quirky 42 seater Cafe located in two 1950s railway carriages at Dufftown Railway Station, in between the famous Balvenie & Glenfiddich Distilleries at the point of the Speyside Way. A seasonal operation open 7 days a week from 1st MARCH until
The cafe is in a freshly painted carriage with flowers on the tables and outside seating as well. The staff are genuinely friendly and even wish you a great journey on their delightful railway. The baking is fresh and the coffee in cafetiers. Prices are good and the cafe is very busy. You can order from the counter and pay if you are sitting outside on the platform.

The Seven Stills is a small, family-run pub, lounge and bistro situated in the heart of the small Speyside town of Dufftown. The drinks include over 300 single malt whiskies, a wide range of Scottish gins, a selection of Scottish vodkas, craft beers and c
This restaurant/pub is a gem. We had not booked, arrived at 6pm, and were seated promptly. We were astounded by the selection of whiskies, and thoroughly enjoyed our own tasting session, along with our dinner. The food was phenomenal. We reminisced on all the dinners we have had on our trips in the past 6 months. This is certainly one of the best, if not THE best. We had our desserts in the lovely cosy sitting area (along with two other guests who we had met on one of our distillery tours). We may need to visit Dufftown, just to eat here again.
