Set in the grounds of thei dairy farm the glass fronted cafe offers spectacular views and delicious food made from local produce. There are 16 different flavours of ice cream on display which is made on site fresh from their own cows milk. There are child
Visited here a few years ago and it was great. Today was not so good. Ice cream was nothing special. In fact the salted caramel tasted like supermarket bought and was quite expensive. We sat outside and I have never seen so many flies. At one point we counted 18 flies crawling around our table. There was extra entertainment, but it cost £5 per child. Several children were stung by nettles. Not sure I'll be visiting again soon!

Located in the the Market Place, Upstairs at Jacks offers a unique dining experience in Devizes, with views over the Market place, sit and relax over a coffee and breakfast of a morning or visit for a light lunch. Upstairs also transforms into a Tapas bar
Me and friend came here for an evening meal, both being huge Tapas fans. The atmosphere was great, the building is ace and the staff were fantastic. I was however, quite dissapointed in the menu. There was a large ammount of 'fried' tapas on the menu and from what I could gather none of it made on site which is dissapointing. The stuffed peppers were tasty but resembled the ones I normally purchase from the supermarket - so much so that i suspect that is what they are. The Gambas was not Gambas Pil Pil but out of the bag prawns with a bit of a lacklustre pil pil sauce. The menu also had baked camembert which although is great - I wouldn't really call this spanish tapas - maybe there are some other alternatives which could be sued - there are some great cheese tapas dishes out there. Also the mushrooms with manchego was particularly bad - a pot of sauted mushrooms topped with an almost cheddar style of grilled manchego - I actually wonder if it was cheddar?I think this place has some great potential, but I do think the menu could do with a bit of rethink from a chef or someone who knows spanish tapas. And independent cheese dish with figs or honey would be nice. A few more veg dishes would be fantastic, some proper shell on prawns and less of the generic 'purchased' fried goods. There are some great tapas resturants about the in South West these days and its a shame that this doesn't quite live up to expectations.

Country Pub situated in Wiltshire, between Devizes & Marlborough. Caravan & Motorhome club Certified location site in the field behind the pub for members only.
Find this place its amazing. Do not pass!! We were on a boat on the Kennet & Avon canal, moored by bridge 128. We had the most amazing evening meal on Wednesday night then went back Thursday, after a few miles boating, for lunch. The food is outstanding & the staff who served us were exceptional, top notch. The photos on the walls of The Concerts at The Kings were awesome! Worth a visit to see those alone (do buy at drink tho, then a meal, then go back again lol) We live an hour plus away, but will definitely go back just to have that tuna dish again. Thanks soooooo much!!

Re-furbished November 2013, The Crown is truly the flagship pub of the Wadworth Brewery, specialising in home cooked food with a modern twist. Steaks and ribs from the grill, duck and chicken from the rotisserie, a fabulous range of tapas and sharing board
There was a little disappointment when the food we had ordered was not available due to a mix up with the menu's. The management immediately went above and beyond professionalism and kindness, leaving us feeling very valued customers. The food was excellent and we will obviously return to enjoy another pleasurable visit. Thank you!

Our restaurant specialises in seafood delivered daily from St Mawes, in Cornwall. A full- la- carte menu offering meat and game dishes using locally sourced produce is also available in the restaurant and bar. The George & Dragon offers award winning food
Great Food, a warm welcome from friendly staff and a great atmosphere, you will find all of this here. I cannot recommend the George and Dragon enough. We have been there for our Christmas meal with 16 friends, birthday celebrations, dinners, lunches and early bird specials all of which have been memorable for all the right reasons . . .

We found this gem from recommendations on a motorhome site. We rang to see if there was space and the lady said there was and even said sheâd open early if we needed food or a drink. We arrived to a lovely welcome from the landlord and sat in the gorgeous garden. We then went inside and ate. I had chilli, rice, garlic bread and sour cream. My boyfriend had lasagne and salad with garlic bread. We ate the whole lot. The food is amazing and exceptional value for money. The lady who served us was so friendly. We will definitely return when we are back in the area. I really recommend that you visit.

It was a very pleasurable experience for my wife and I to take Sunday Lunch today at The Millstrsam. The service was welcoming, friendly and efficient. I chose a course from the specials board, medallions of venison. This was outstanding in all respects. My wife has a small appetite and so was delighted to be able to order a small portion of the roast chicken which she thoroughly enjoyed. We shall be returning often to this venue which is clearly well managed.

We found this venue almost by chance, having stayed locally in SEEND and were out for a round trip of the area. We stopped for lunch and were very glad we did. The original pub has been tastefully extended and restored into a spacious well appointed restaurant. The food was to die for!! Suited us down to the ground, large, well cooked and just that little bit different. As my wife is both Lactose and Soya intolerant the staff made sure everything was suitable to the point of making drinks out of a special milk we had brought with us. We were so impressed that we returned on two further occasions and were not disappointed on any of them. Definitely a place for our favourites list.

This was a return visit, and we found it just as good the second time. Very good food, friendly service, and a nice vibe. Special mention for the chef, who worked like mad in the open kitchen, preparing 7 different meals for two tables all at once. We were impressed!

Tucked away in the little side street called The Ginnel (Devizes' answer to "Diagon Alley"), you'll find our little shoppe - come in for a delicious lunch, loose leaf tea and somewhat unexpectedly...great coffee. We are open 7 days a week and look forward
The location was good, small rooms but the tables were not too close together, so it felt intimate without sitting on top of other customers. The staff were lovely and knowledgeable about the tea. The scone was freshly made and served warm, absolutely delicious. Went for afternoon tea and ended up also buying two types of loose tea to take home. Good price for all as well. Will certainly be returning, probably very soon.
