We enjoyed a fabulous meal here. Tuesday night is pie night and my husband wasn't disappointed. His steak and ale pie was homemade and stuffed full with steak. I had a mushroom and halloumi ciabatta with salad which was awesome. The chips were recommended and didn't disappoint!! All the staff here are lovely and incredibly welcoming. You won't leave here hungry that's for sure!

We normally head to crantock beach whilst waiting for our accommodation after a bit of a journey. We head over to the fern pit as soon as possible for a coffee and a view, a world away from a few hours before at home. Itâs a bit of a trek up the steps if you come from the beach but worth it. Perfect flat white (which you canât get everywhere) and perfect view. Helpful staff as always.

A fresh Australian restaurant, with a casual dining experience, using a mix of local Cornish and Australian produce. Open for breakfast, lunch, dinner and coffee and cakes.
Excellent. We are local and have been to most of the local restaurants and cannot believe we havenât been to Bush Pepper before. It is now on the top of our preferred restaurant list. Beautifully cooked Australian style food as good as anything we had whilst in Australia last year. We will be back soon. Do try, this is excellent .

We are a Coffee/Breakfast Bar/Hairdressers above Watershed surf shop, offering speciality coffee, smoothies and juices, as well as a well rounded healthy food menu, and haircuts of all shapes and sizes.
Great coffee and amazing cinnamon buns - don't deny yourself! Have been a couple of times when on holiday in Newquay, staff are always friendly and there are lots of vegan and other options. Haven't had lunch or anything here but the food looked fresh and the menu is varied. Dog friendly in and out though it can get pretty busy; nice little terrace out front if you can get a spot in the sun.Would call in anytime we're in the area.

A small seafood restaurant, with fantastic views of fistral beach, serving the freshest fish and shellfish, crab and lobster directly from Newquay harbour, with a very reasonably priced menu.
Whilst visiting friends in the area they booked us to The Fish House (they have visited previously) on Thursday 31st and overall we had a most enjoyable evening. To start we had the Grilled Scallops (3) with ginger, garlic, black beans soy and sesame oil £8.95 (excellent) and the Seafood Sharing Board (crab cakes...lovely, two salt and pepper shell on prawns, piquillo peppers stuffed with salt cod...very good, light battered squid with aioli ..disappointed....fresh focaccia...lovely texture but could have done with a little more flavour of garlic and herb) £17.95. For mains my wife had the Whole Plaice £23.00 to which she said was excellent as was our other mains ..Chickpea Stew with grilled hake £18.95 (hake cooked to perfection and lovely flavours in the stew)...Roasted Hake £18.95. To accompany our meal we had a bottle of Verdejo £18.50 and a 250ml glass of Tempranillo £6.50. The service overall was attentive, helpful and friendly especially Tia. There is no service charge. We would certainly visit again when in the area.

Came across this place on a coast walk from Holywell bay to Crantock. Didnât know it was there! Very nice decor so felt like we shouldnât go in with our walking boots on but it was fine. There was plenty of outdoor seating with a wonderful view. Very nice flat white although didnât have that lovely roasted aftertaste I like. Ended up buying toasted tea cakes too as we were hungry. Very nice!

WAX Newquay is a brand new restaurant and cocktail bar located in the heart of Newquay. Located in a historic Lloyds bank this restaurant in a mix between modern stylings and the classic bank decor.
We came here on the 20th October for our wedding anniversary meal. After reading the reviews I thought 2 bad reviews, the rest brilliant - and it wasn't so big inside so we were expecting a more personal approach. This is not what we got. We ordered drinks and our meal at 7.02. The bar man said he would bring my cocktail over ASAP. 30 mins later still no cocktail!! My husband had finished half his drink! The barman looked busy so we assumed he was making the cocktail, no he went away from the bar and wiped tables!! We then said "excuse me, we are still waiting for a cocktail" he replied yes I know!!! He then came over with the cocktail which was mostly ice! The food - whilst that was quicker than the drinks HA - the burger I ordered was very rare. Almost still mooing! Then we noticed I was missing my onion rings - I didn't dare mention this as I thought I'd have a snappy reply. £41 - for a upscale Wetherspoons. We did enjoy the décor.
