Find out what British restaurants to try in Costa Teguise. Costa Teguise in the Canary Islands doesn’t have a long history behind it—the resort area was developed as a tourist area in the 1980s. The sandy beaches are the town’s main attraction, but for a change of pace, visit the Fundacion Cesar Manrique, where you can see Manrique’s artwork and learn about this world-renowned local artist.

On previous holidays we have been happy to go to Trekkers regularly, reliable service, good food at an acceptable price, family friendly therefore we returned at the beginning of this holiday. It was surprisingly quite, we were served quickly, 2019 FIFA football awards were being shown on TV. Tables near us were occupied by locals, ladies with blue streaked hair and on an adjoining table an unkempt man, all knew each other and were well known by the staff . Another local confirmed they were regular drinkers in Trekkers. The females were following a football match by phone were shouting and swearing as the game progressed. When they were joined by the man on next table the language was awful, a couple who had just arrived for food left before ordering because of this behaviour. On reflection we should have cancelled our order and gone elsewhere as soon as we realised that this type of language and behaviour was acceptable at Trekkers. Going back and giving them a second chance was not an option, shame because the food was good.

George, Stacy and our amazing staff welcome you to our friendly pub offering high quality food and specials at fantastic prices.Cocktails and happyhour specials daily and entertainment every night.
Ate here several evenings, service is friendly and efficient, food was always good, steak was very good at a reasonable price, fish was cooked well, chilli was enjoyable. There is a well equipped disabled toilet, room for a wheelchair and it is spotlessly clean. There is entertainment most evenings, karaoke or DJ both ok to listen to but nothing special. The quiz on Wednesday unfortunately isnât very good, quizmaster loves the sound of his own voice, but it wasnât a problem we just didnât eat there on Wednesdays.Of all the bars we ate in whilst we were in Costa Teguise, The Highlander was the best for food, service and hygiene.

My favourite place to watch the sun go down is sat on the table by the door! The atmosphere is always great, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Ordered taken at the table and delivered promptly. Occasional live music is quite popular. Food is good and reasonably priced for the sea front. The staff here are brilliant!

My family were recommended the Black Bull as it does one of the best cooked breakfasts in Costa Teguise. There's a massive car park just yards away, lots of shops, and a supermarket across the road, so you can have breakfast then do some shopping on the same visit. We've tried both the full English and full Scottish and the Scottish is our clear favourite.Diners have a choice of indoor or outdoor seating and we've tried both ... but with Lanzarote winds and a preference to eat a hot breakfast, we always now dine indoors, where the seating is comfortable and the TV always seems tuned to a channel showing hilarious sports incidents.Service is always friendly and efficient and the breakfasts always delicious.Recommended.
