A friendly chippy serving good traditional food. We are in the heart of the Yorkshire Dales National Park located at the end of Ingleton's famous waterfall trail.
We had two large portions of fish and chips. They were quite good but not superb. Probably good when you are really starved.

Restaurant and Bar serving all knids of food, large function room, real ales and a beer garden. located next to Knight Stainforth Hall Caravan Park
Stopped at the campsite and made use of the restaurant for breakfast, Sunday dinner and an afternoon tea (separate days!). We all enjoyed the service and the food and the setting. Particularly helpful being dog friendly. Iâm lost for words describing how happy we were with it all but weâre planning a return stay for next year.

Masons Freehouse. Publice House, open daily. We serve food all day. We have three cosy en- suite bedrooms. We have traditional ales and logs fires.
Visited on a Tuesday evening at 7.00, having booked - place was packed out and whilst we had a reserved table it was a little cramped. Food was very good and service was good if a little slow. beer was excellent . Pricing wise a little high but not excessive - Would visit again - but ensure you book!

Part of the 5 Star New Inn Clapham , Bistro 1745 serves a fantastic range of locally sourced delicious meals to suit all tastes, recently winning a 2015 Breakfast award!
After walking the Ingleborough trail a good meal and refreshing drinks were necessary and the New Inn supplied these in abundance. A fresh and interesting decor with shields, helmets and other bits of knight's accoutrement displayed on the walls, etc. The menu was short but well suited to general tastes. My Cumberland Curl on mashed potato was excellent. The staff were chatty and friendly with quick service. Prices were fine and the atmosphere in the inn was very pleasant and relaxing.

The Traddock is dedicated to offering our guests the best The Yorkshire Dales have to offer. Top quality produce and cooking, warm welcoming hospitality and a relaxing and homely place to rest and recharge while exploring the Dales region. We source and p
My husband and I have recently had the pleasure of visiting The Traddock for the 5th time, staying at the hotel based on their Yorkshire Gourmet break. A six course taster menu the first evening followed by a 3 course meal the second evening. This gave us the opportunity to try a number of wonderful dishes. The flavours, textures & presentation spot on. We enjoy sampling the canapes in the bar, trying delicious homemade bread with lovely butter ( lamb flavour was available this time) followed by excellent starters, mains & desserts. The portions are not large but perfectly formed! It's our interpretation of 'Fine Dining' but appreciate others won't agree. As I said it's all subjective.

This is just the place we needed (all 30-odd of us) after heading off in 3 different groups for the day to Ingleborough Cave, Gaping Gill, Ingleborough and various other destinations in the area. The bunkhouse cafe and bar is conveniently right next to the car & coach park, the terrace outside is lovely and sunny (when the sun's out - it was when we got back at 4.30 anyway, though it had been really cloudy and cool earlier) and the main offerings switch seamlessly from cafe to bar at about end of a walk time - ever so convenient. It's a quirky old stone building and the bar's not large, but there are friendly locals drinking in there too and they'll recommend the best beer to go for. Great spot!

Me and my family went here for a meal and the food was absolutely lovely. The homemade deserts we so delicious and the views are gorgeous too. Itâs not far from a beautiful bluebell walk and is in a great location. The staff there are so friendly and are very accommodating. Will definitely be returning to this lovely tea rooms and would recommend.

We had taken than longer to complete the Yorkshire 3 Peaks due to how hot the weather was and needing plenty of breaks to hydrate. We were not back at the expected time for the meal but Alan was very accommodating. To be truthful after the 13 hours walk I wasn't feeling that hungry. It was all fantastic food and service . It is not somewhere that can easily be found. This was recommended to us. Only niggle is the wine - not the best. Had the house wine £16.00 pinot and it did taste a cheap wine, Perhaps need to look at new choices. Food part is the essential bit and I had no complaints with my lambthankyou for your review and glad you enjoyed the food and yes you where late by 1and three quater hours and you should of said something about the wine we would have been happy to exchange without question - chenin blanc south africian 13-50chile sav blanc 15-95austrialia chardonnay 16-55new zealand sav blanc 17-55 prosecco 18-99

Welcome to The Game Cock Inn a Traditional Yorkshire Dales pub, restaurant and B&B with a cosy bar, real fire, award winning restaurant, delicious food with a French twist and comfortable, quality accommodation.
Arrived without booking and asked for a table and was told one would be just refreshed for us and ready in a couple of minutes, ordered drinks while waiting to then be told there was no availability for 2 hours. The pub did appear to be very busy which I would imagine is reflective of popularity generally but poor service to back that up, my young daughter and I went elsewhere.

This was our second visit and I am sure it wont be long before our next. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, hot and fresh, with several slightly unusual things to choose from. The vegetarian chilli was very tasty with just enough kick, the toasted sandwich was exceptional. We will certainly be returning in the near future as it is now our favouite place for a day time meal. Thank you
