Visited with my parents, father is coeliac and could choose anything from the menu as they can adapt almost anything to be gluten free. Loads of choice but the garlic scallops are amazing. Lovely views and friendly, helpful staff. Will definitely be back.

A traditional seaside stall/kiosk selling fresh seafood, included the highly recommended Crab Sandwich which I really enjoyed. My wife had the Seafood Platter which at £15 is a but pricey, but well worth the money given what this includes. My son also enjoyed his Smoked Salmon Parcel.

Shoals is predominantly a seafood restaurant but also caters for vegetarians and meat lovers too We offer freshly cooked local crab sandwiches, line grown Brixham mussels, dayboat scallops and much more from our daily fish auction
Weâve visited previously on trips to Brixham but this was the first time weâve had the restaurant to ourselves, probably due to the fact it was a Monday evening and pouring with rain. We had an absolutely delicious meal with excellent service. My friendâs gluten free diet was not a problem. The portions were extremely generous and the hake (catch of the day) was sensational. A thoroughly enjoyable evening.

Me and my family came here for the pie night last Thursday. We preordered our pies from the fantastic range beforehand and had great communication with the people there. Got a great deal with the pint and a pie which was absolute perfection, had the chicken, gammon and leek. Will definitely return here on every holiday now on. Fantastic chefs, barmen and waiter. Thank you so much. Thanks so much for your review. So happy that you enjoyed our Pies and we look forwards to seeing you again. Regards Lynn

Fabulous restaurant. We enjoyed an exquisite set meal which considering the high quality was extremely good value. Chef prepares everything fresh to order and Katherine on front of house is warm, friendly and very efficient. House wine included in the fixed price was very quaffable. Everyone seemed to have thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Highly recommended.

At the heart of The Imperial Torquay is the Regatta Restaurant, with breathtaking, panoramic views across Torbay and the South Devon coastline. The menu offers a delicious culinary journey with a focus on fresh local produce and flavour to create exciting
Having booked online we arrived with no prepared table for us. The waiter was excellent but clearly overworked as he ran between bar duties and serving around 5 tables. The menu was ok but a bit disjointed. Prawns tasteless small and clearly just defrosted in cold water. Freshly grilled whole place was first class, The omelette just lay there having given up and my cod in batter was a dark burnt brown rather than golden. The trifle was lovely. That said it has the best view in Torquay. ps donât ever order the afternoon tea itâs minute!

Always go by your recommendations so when I entered best Sunday lunch and Orestone Manor came up I booked I was advised the time shiw on there site was incorrect and we were booked in at 12.15 lunch time I stated I was allergic to Black peppers he went away to the Chef then came back to us saying all of there Sunday roasts were drenched in pepper all night and the roast potatoes I have never come across this before as they were advertising the roasts Beef, pork Chicken you would have thought that one of the three would have been supplied without adding pepperes I had to end up with fish for Sunday lunch not what I wanted I think they should advertise that they add these allergic items so people are aware Graham Thurston the fish was very good and the serviceWe are please you enjoyed the fish and service. Our website does clearly state our dinning times . However as with all restaurants time slots do get booked up. It sounds to me 12.15 was the only time slot we had available when you booked. I see from your booking that you booked through open table ( a third party booking agent). If you had phoned us directly we would have asked if you had any dietary requirements. We would have been more than happy to accommodate your pepper allergy had we known. Unfortunately the nature of a roast is the preparation beforehand hence the inflexibility. The Orestone Manor does always try to accommodate all allergies but it is best that we know upon booking. We do hope we can welcome you back to The Orestone but please phone us directly next time.
