Foxtons loves serving our lovely customer with locally sourced food: meats from RG Foreman near Berwick. Seafood from Ross Dougal of Eyemouth! Ices and cheeses from Doddingtons Dairy. Our veggies are delivered fresh every day. All fresh and served with a
The greatest asset this pub has is its staff who were all friendly and professional. We called early on aSaturday evening and sat in the bar to eat as the dining room was full. There was a very loud group of people near the bar, quite a way from where we were, who had been fuelled to the point of not being aware (not caring?) of how the noise made others conversation very difficult. I didnât see any attempt by the staff to ask them to moderate their behaviour - difficult I know.We opted for skewers. My friends halloumi version was great with a mix of cheese, veg and quinoa . My chicken skewer was disappointing being a large portion of battered chicken pieces suspended over a generous plate of oven chips with a small drizzle of peanut sauce on some of the pieces. I had wrongly assumed a dipping sauce and a skewer to include some veg (a few strands of pea shoots not withstanding)It was very beige and not a balanced meal. The waitress said sheâd pass my suggestions back to the chef. This place has the potential to be excellent.

Been here before and thought we would call in again for a spot of breakfast or brunch etc Walked in at 11:02 To be told that breakfast finished at 11..thats fine we said we will have a sandwich or similiar. Not possible we were told the kitchen is preparing for lunch you can have a scone! We left at this point and were both in agreement that we won't be back.In an establishment like this hot food should be an option all day and to miss the breakfast cut off point by 2 mins and they being unable or unwilling to accommodate us was a bit of a joke really...went to the rocking horse cafe instead ...so glad we did!!Iâm disappointed by this review. We would like to serve food all day but we are a small rural business so we allow our chefs a break between breakfast and lunch.. given we can do an awful lots of breakfasts on a morning! The chefs need a break and time to prepare for lunch!! This is not a city business that employs shift workers.. It is really unfortunate that you arrived at two minutes past 11 and missed the breakfast order. We have to stick to this otherwise the chefs would never be able to get lunch prepped. I think your 1 star review is really unfair!

We were early for our visit and popped in here for coffee prior to our tour of the walls .At first sight, the place looked a little unprepossessing but once inside it turned out to be a very good, non-chain coffee house. The Coffee was good, the scones were excellent - light and crumbly. The service was swift and efficient in spite of the place being fairly crowded and there not seeming to be many waitresses. Its crowded and busy nature would speak for its popularity and it also offers light meals which, if the scones and millionaire's shortbread are anything to go by, will be good. Many thanks for an enjoyable experience.

At sinners cafe our wide range of coffees are made with freshly ground beans. We have a breakfast menu served up until 11.30am. A wide variety of lunch options including daily specials. A large proportion of our food is Home made, including our customers
Spotted here as we walked form the car park and decided to stop for breakfast. Good choice of different foods available and cheerful staff. Food was served quickly, hot & tasty. We walked past again later and there were a lot of people sitting outside too.

Coffee and bagel house, serving healthy, wholesome lightbites. Vegan and gluten free options. Locally sourced and produced where possible. We also sell vinyl records. Foodies, coffee fans and music lovers welcome.
Was looking for an independent coffee shop for some coffee and light breakfast with several adults and kids. Delicious locally roasted coffee and tasty bagels with a great choice. Fab use of limited space and great atmosphere with the record player on and vinyl to choose. Service was great considering we were a large party- friendly and efficient. Would definitely recommend.

Definitely recommend this Cafe. I had the special of mince, tatties, cabbage and peas - delicious! My family had soup, paninis, portion of chips and scampi and chips. Each plate was presented beautifully and the chips were homemade. Next was pudding. A slab of mars bar cake and tray bake of Kinder Bueno. All were delicious and additional cakes were purchased to take home.

We had enjoyed coastal walks and stopped for a coffee at Lowryâs. We were lucky to get an outside table and enjoyed some sunshine. We both had coffee and scones. The coffeeâs were a skinny latte and an americano. Both good, strong and hot. The scones were a good size and served how we liked them with butter and jam. Lovely staff, great coffee and scones. Other visitors nearby had sandwiches that looked well filled and inside there were a variety of cakes and traybakes. The toilet was spotlessly clean. Well worth a visit.

Restaurant offering a fine dining experience in Berwick-upon-Tweed. European and British contemporary cuisine, prepared using only the best locally sourced ingredients
Just dropped in for a coffee whilst walking around the town. Staff were great, and they offer a charcuterie and cheese, which really did look very nice as we watched a couple tuck into it. Unfortunately we were still suffering from the full English breakfast syndrome. Definitely worth a visit.
