Reviews on British food in Benalmadena, Province of Malaga, Spain. While most visitors choose Benalmadena for its glorious beaches, there are plenty of other attractions to keep your family amused. Take a trip out to sea on a boat or a ferry; you can even go whale and dolphin watching. A cable car ride would make a welcome change, or perhaps a visit to Bil Bil Castle. The castle is distinctive with its Arabian architecture, and it hosts concerts as well as art exhibitions. Visit the Sea Life Centre, where you can walk through the transparent tunnels in the underwater park or watch feeding demonstrations; the centre even has a mini golf course. At the end of a relaxing day, Benalmadena becomes a great place for nightlife. Whatever kind of cuisine you are looking for, you are sure to find a restaurant that will suit your family's tastes.

Visited the bar on Sunday 18/8/19. A very warm and friendly welcome from Tommy. Good chat and banter and good drinks. I have been visiting the area for 7 year and have only âdiscoveredâ the bar on this trip. I wish I had found it earlier. Clean, friendly and very welcoming. Will be back.

We booked a table requesting the lamb otherwise it may run out. Despite doing this it took ages to be asked what potatoes and vegetables we required. The food was excellent but then we waited over 25 minutes to get our table cleared and then again before we were asked for our desert choice which was lovely homemade cheesecake.

Serving up delicious, home cooked food with a selection of drinks and fine wines, within stylish surroundings, The Lilac Tree is a friendly, contemporary restaurant and bar. Located in the beautiful, white-washed, traditional village of Benalmadena Pueblo
We very rarely go to somewhere more than once, but the team running the Lilac Tree and the food impressed us so much, we went back the following evening. On our first encounter, we tried the mackerel pate and the fried goats cheese for starters, followed by the pork belly and the thai green curry - delicious! We asked for wine to go with our meals and they were excellent! Happy and helpful attitude from everyone, including the Chef who brought out our mains - it's nice to thank someone who has passion for their skill and ability to create beautifully presented and tasty food! I can recommend the fudge brownie dessert! Walking away from the Lilac Tree just after midnight, we decided to come back again the next evening. We were not disappointed and the food was fantastic again! Really enjoyed the sweet chilli prawn linguine and the fried halloumi. Ideal street location for a summer evening, with a view of pretty spanish townhouses while nursing an amaretto! Thank you all at The Lilac Tree and every success for your business!

We are here on our final day of holidays for a birthday meal. I was very sceptical due to the location, I wasnt expecting much. I was amazed. Itâs actually really lovely and food was fabulous. Really big portions and extremely reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and the owner came over to chat. His partner is the chef who also came to say hello. If I had eaten in there at the beginning of the holiday I would definitely had more meals there.

Thank you for looking at Woodies TripAdvisor. We would like to inform our customers that we only serve food on a Sunday. This being our famous Sunday Roast and our homemade cheesecake. We look forward to seeing you either for drinks or on a Sunday Roast d
Called Up booked a table. We turned up early had a couple of drinks at the bar before we were seated. Everyone ordered the roast dinner & cheesecake.Roast was spot on. Just like walking into nanâs House on a Sunday uninvited, sit down to a plate of proper home cooked food followed by a home made cheesecake. Nothing was left on the plates & it was the best meal of a 2 week stay in Malaga for sure.Yorkshire pudding were huge! Cheesecake was something else. Owners couldnât do enough for you. British style cafe in the beautiful village of Mijas serving high quality breakfasts, brunches, lunches, cream teas and snacks. We use only the best ingredients and prepare your food in front of you. Gluten free, lactose free, vegetarian & vegan options a
Small cafe in Mijas Pueblo that certainly delivers on quality of food and service. Warm welcome and effcient and friendly service from owners/ staff. It is there to appeal to Brits in the sun and it does that so very well- tho it does go a little off piste with pancakes , bacon and maple syrup! - and it was maple syrup with its distinctive flavour they didnt try and get away with a cheap alternative !! Avocado, tomato and egg also keeping up with latest trends. Well done. Well worth visiting.
