Serving occupiers and the local community, the Avondale Bar & Grill is a favourite at Strathclyde Business Park. Open throughout the day, with a host of experienced chefs updating the menu every month and offering a daily soup and specials.
We came here as a large group and had a most enjoyable, deliberately quick, lunch. The macaroni cheese and chips were particularly nice but everything we had was good. It's not haute cuisine but it is a good place for a casual lunch. Dear Jordan1964Thank you so much for visiting us recently for your business lunch. We are pleased to hear that you had a fantastic time. You can follow us on Facebook for our latest specials - @avondalebargrill We hope to welcome you again soon. Many thanks Nancy

We were staying in the premier inn next door so popped in for lunch. The portion sizes were good. I however got the chicken burger which was pretty tasteless. Was done in batter which all fell off and was a little oily. My husband had the steak which was nice, similar to Wetherspoon but good value for money. Basic food. Wouldnât rush back.

Gift form family for wedding anniversary dinner. Food was delicious and all staff were so pleasant and professional. Only little issue was the tables. We had a table for two and when sitting on the outside seat thereâs very little room between chairs and got bumped every time someone passed.

A small Italian restaurant serving delicious, freshly made, authentic Italian food.
My husband and I travelled from Ayr (around 45 minutes) to this restaurant after reading so many 5 star reviews on here. Being 38 weeks pregnant and finding most menus donât cater for pregnant ladies I was happy when I saw the menu online and so we booked for our wedding anniversary meal.On arrival we were slightly disheartened by the appearance of the building itself, lacked âpavement appealâ with stubbed our cigarettes and litter at the entrance as well as an abundance of flies as you walked in the front door- however, we continued into the building hopeful we would be surprised. The smell of stale smoke and beer was not great as the pub joining the restaurant which was crowded with loud drunk men caught our attention. As we made our way into the restaurant area on the left hand side which was dull and uninviting we were directed to the furthest away table - directly below a speaker which was playing very loud dance music. The seats and tables were dirty with crumbs and sticky marks. The menu was presented to us and appeared shabby and much less inviting than what we had seen online - the same content only on a sheet of A4 paper. We were directed to some specials which were scribbled on a whiteboard with a marker pen on the other side of the restaurant. As this was a special occasion we decided against eating in this establishment- we paid for our drinks and left. I would like to think we would have been pleasantly surprised by the food if we had decided to stay- however I dread to think about the presentation of the kitchen when I consider the restaurant itself. Very disappointing considering the âglowingâ reviews which worryingly do not match our experience in the slightest.Dear Emma HI am very surprised and disappointed firstly that trip advisor allowed this review considering that you did not even dine or allow our service team to give you a great experience. Yes our little restaurant may not be The Ritz however as you have seen by our TA ranking the other 125 5 star reviews cannot be wrong. They also by the way had the common courtesy of at least trying a dish. Giving a small suburban establishment a 1 star review without giving them a chance is disgraceful. The pub next door is what you would expect from a pub on a Saturday night meaning Emma people are enjoying themselves. I also see many other establishments all over the globe are getting the 1 star treatment in your reviews. I really donât think much would please you Emma and I would put on record for other restaurants to be aware of TA reviews you post in the future. My chefs and service staff did not deserve this.Regards Derek

Staff were friendly and welcoming and drinks arrived quickly. The menu has been refreshed and some familiar dishes have a fresh twist. My haggis arancini were delicious as were the other starters of scallops, Brie and minestrone.I ordered penne Arabiatta and asked for tuna to be added along with excellent extra chilli and it was excellent. My mother-in-laws salmon was beautifully cooked and the pizzas had lots of fresh toppings. Despite the large portions we managed to squeeze in desserts and again all we lovely. This place never disappoints.

Belmill Hotel is a modern bar, bistro hotel. We provide great food from morning till night in warm modern environment, catering to all age groups.
The Bellmill is a nice modern restaurant, the staff are friendly and helpful and it's very clean.Where they get zero out of five is the choice of vegetarian food. There is only macaroni to choose from on the all day menu, zero choices in the senior menu and slimway selection and no vegetarian choice at all from the burgers or main menu.Very poor.
