We visited the tea rooms at lunch time and found the food good but a little expensive for the portion size. The service , however, was good and the staff polite. The tables in the downstairs area are very close together and it is difficult to get around them.

We are the neighbourhood Seafood & Grill, proudly bringing relaxed informal dining to Bedford's Cultural Quarter serving fish, oysters, steaks and grills.
Stumbled arse backwards into dinner for 70+ guests post Nice Comic Convention. Starter was the Thai chicken skewers, could do with a little more of the peanut relish marinade, but still worked well with the chill jam. Also quite spicy. 8oz rump for mains, served perfectly medium rare with a very tasty marrow butter and a small portion of mash and ratatouille veg that I didn't particularly want and didn't eat (greens would make more sense or some kind of sautéed veg. Could do with a little more of the mash. Potatoes are cheap, perhaps crushed New or Fir potatoes, keep it seasonal)Chocolate & Raspberry Frangipane torte for dessert.Very rich, too rich for me, couldn't finish the whole portion but tasted amazing. All in all a quite good meal and the kitchen and front of house team coped VERY well with the 70+ plus booking.Would definitely come here to eat again with a smaller group to try the larger a la carte menu.

Went last Sunday for a traditional SundY roast with friends. Had a warm welcome and good service. The food was very good and came hot with fresh vegetables, Yorkshire pudding and plenty of meat. The pate to start was tasty and puddings yummy. Ambiance good too.

Summer Soltice means wedding anniversary. So needed good food welcoming atmosphere and music to dance too. Well we got all of this at Tre Fratelli last night. Simone was there to welcome us and the whole evening went just as we wanted. We actually took 4 friends who had a great time. Sofia Soul was excellent. Staff were attentive which added to the experience. Well done again for making our celebration a memorable experience.

Once upon a time Herd focused on burgers and served decent ones at that. 2 recent visits and unfortunately standards have seriously gone down. opted for the herd burger and onion rings which I enjoyed many times. Noticeable decline in quality of both the burger and bun. The large onion rings were a little oily this time, the chips were fine . The new restaurant was dry as a dodo so there was no reason to get anything wrong !

The food was amazing, delicious and plentiful, and they catered so well for my vegetarian and vegan friends. Laura was so helpful in helping me choose the food, and went out of her way to ensure we had a good time.Hello, karenandcraig33Thankyou for taking the time to leave us a review. we are so glad you had a great time with us and we hope to see you again really soon.

Friendly greeting, helpful staff, beautiful food. Exceptional in every way. Unexpected and interesting amuse bouche; goat's cheese starter with apricots, beetroot crisps, etc. was full of contrasting textures and flavours. We had ordered our main course in advance and it came exactly as we had hoped. Accompanying vegetables were cooked perfectly, and exquisitely presented. Pannacotta was light, smooth and a perfect end to the meal. Coffee was flavoursome without being bitter. Perfection? Yes, a wonderful evening.

We havenât visited here for a long time and we have been missing out. There is a great atmosphere even in very busy restaurant. The quality of the food is excellent. Portions are perfectly sized and full of flavor, we were able to enjoy 3 courses without feeling too full. The warm chocolate orange tart was to die for. Will definitely be returning soon.
