Been to Belmont many times over the years for family occasions and haven't been in a few. Was looking forward to coming back but we had a Sunday lunch meal that was just not overly nice. For everyone who had the beef, the gravy was not nice and the yorkshire puddings were clearly defrosted or left out as was not like anything we ever had before (and a yorkshire pudding for Sunday dinner should be a proper one!).The service wasn't great. One girl who was clearly in charge to look after us couldn't even smile and had to be asked repeatedly for water. After our main's no one came near us to see if we wanted dessert. We then had to chase them for a menu and there was so much confusion when asking for the cheesecake of the day - even after that was cleared out the wrong desserts were brought out 10 minutes later. Such a disappointing meal and will not be rushing to have another family reunion there again. When everyone said round the table their meal was 'just alright' - it's not great feedback.Dear CatAMcC5, Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review of your recent visit with us here at the Belmont House Hotel. First time visiting Harry's Bar today. First impressions were that it looked like a great little bar, until we ate.Food was really under the standard you would expect or hope for.First and last time we will be there I'm afraid.

Also have outside catering.
I took my 87 year old great aunt out for lunch to Gilberry Fayre and she loved it! The staff couldnât have been more helpful. They arranged a table downstairs so she wouldnât have to climb the stairs, they served her lunch to the table and were so friendly. The food is delicious and the desserts and cakes are to die for. I loved it and will definitely be back

Two friends and myself met up at the Downshire Hotel,, Banbridge few weeks back....We expected the usual high standard of food but it was the complete opposite. The meat was tough so, we had to send the whole three plates back....we re ordered different dishes but was not much better. We complained to the staff but we wont be back anytime soon!!!

Me and my husband called tonight for a meal. for the first time, after a high recommendation from a family member. The restaurant was lovely decorated and warm. The service was attentive and all staff were extremely pleasant. My husband had the sirloin with all the trimmings and I had chicken goujons.Portions were large and everything was cooked to perfection and really tasty.Despite being 'full' my husband had the cheesecake which again was delicious and very attractively served. We found 'The Albert' a very pleasant and welcoming place and will definitely be back.Thankyou

We were very well looked after by the host who also explained the history of the building. We ordered whilst having cocktails and were invited to our table when the meal was ready to serve. The meal was a bit expensive, but excellent. I would love to go again, but our schedule does not permit.

A small locally owned cafe, where good customer service in a warm inviting environment were delicious food is severed
Fabulous cafe for both breakfast and lunch. Breakfasts are first class as is the lunch menu. I had a lovely chicken bacon Caesar salad today. Coffee very tasty. Fairly priced. You must try.
