Fantastic pizza and grill restaurant and cocktail bar in a stunning space in the heart of Merthyr! Our giant Woodfired pizza oven and great chefs make the best pizza for miles!
Our group loved it here and we went back a second night.Pizzas and burgers were lovely. Good selection of beers and the staff were great fun.

Great pub, friendly, happy, helpful staff & very accommodating towards plantbased diets. Chef came out to run through vegan menu and was more than happy to supply alternative items such as sauces. Chef even looked at ingredients to ensure items were suitable! Although they offer a dairy free ice cream and they very kindly offered a fruit salad for dessert, chef suggested the next time we visit to ring through and he would have a plantbased / vegan dessert on the menu! What more can a girl ask for! The falafel meal I had was lovely. Falafel were very tasty and owners own recipe! Will absolutely return for them!

Little things spoil my visits here. No sugar or napkins brought with my latte. Shouldn't have to go back to the counter to ask. Coffee is decent enough. Outside sitting area very pleasant and the building is splendid. Really like what they have done with the place. It's the second best in town after Dolce Deli

More than a sandwich shop also have paninis, pasta and salad boxes all freshly prepared, quality ingredients, beautifully presented. Lots of choice including vegetarian and vegan options and big portions at reasonable prices. We had the Hawaiian panini, vegan baguette and vegan cheese salad sandwich on lush bloomer bread. Apart from the food was also impressed by the environmental friendly packaging and friendly staff Highly recommend!

We went for dinner with family. It was tremendous. I had the Halibut with scallops, mash, blackpudding etc. Which was amazing! The fish was pure white and cooked perfectly. My husband had the rop steak with pepper sauce which he said was perfectly cooked. It was with triple cooked chips and he asked for rosemary & parmesan on them...mm, mm.My sister in la6 had fillet steak which was perfect too. A way burger was had by my brother in law which was he said was the Best Budher he'd Ever Had!!!!So well done to chef. 2 of us decided to share a cheese board, but it was disappointing and a bit mean. There were only 2 small bits of cheese. So please give more cheese. Crackers could have been a bit more interesting as well. When back on wales again wiil definitely visit again!

Very homely place. Staff were all lovely and friendly. We were only going for drinks but were so tempted by the displays. We had very, very nice hot food. We just sat for ages resting and enjoying the place. We did not find it too pricey at all. We will go back one day if we go to Aberdare again. The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
My title says it all!The Sunday Lunch was very poor. No taste as if the 'Chef' had not seasoned the veg!Tasteless and at over £10 very expensive! Drinks are and must be the most expensive in Wales and again the local brew is like water!A place to avoid! Do yourself a favour and stay well away!Dear beatles1982,Thank you for taking the time to review our business, we are sorry to hear about your apparent experience, we welcome all feedback and appreciate your point of view. Me and the mrs came here with some rare free time together. We didn't have to wait long for food to come and mine was lovely, I had a burger with bbq pulled port and cheese. Cheesy garlic bread was amazing. The mrs wasn't to keen on her lasagne as there was mushrooms in it and she doesn't like them, Not that it's their fault at all.I'd definitely come back.

Visited in December and they were quite busy so we were shown upstairs which was not a problem. There was a party upstairs and eventually we places an order which took 30 minutes to arrive.we ordered 2 steak sandwiches. When I took the piece of bread off the size of the steak was laughable, not enough to feed a toddler. They wanted to charge £10 for this so I complained and even the staff thought it was awful. We decided to get up and leave and go elsewhere for our lunch. Very disappointed in this experience as we have eaten here a few times and found it to be ok. Quality checks need to be carried out on the food being sent out, where is the pride of the cooks? Probably won't go back. Hit and miss. Update. Went back 7/2/19. Food was awful. Tasteless, poor in size and presentation. Sent the basket of fish. Ack as it had 7 pieces of small fish bits which was priced at £14. Had lasagne which was bland and cold. My wife had chicken which had a chemical flavour sauce. All those for £41. I will never go back and strongly recommended you donât go. This place is a joke.

We had a wonderful evening meal in the restaurant. The staff could not do enough to make sure we had everything we wanted. They made recommendations and suggestions on what to have. The food itself was filling and delicious. We also tasted the amazing desserts- the chocolate orange cheesecake hit the spot! Would definitely recommend this restaurant.
