This suspension bridge in Shirakawa-Go connected us from the Bus Parking lot from which we came to the UNESCO town of Shirakawa-Go. We came on January 4 and it was pretty crowded so quite a bit of people on the bridge. Also, the bridge will move and shake while you are walking on it.

The sudden contrast between the buildings, the green of the trees, the blue of the sky and the red of the bridge were amazing. We crossed the bridge many times during our exploration of Takayama.
