There are many entrances to this beautiful place and is very popular with dog walkers. There are car parks at the Rectory Lane entrance and Kimberly Drive entrance It was a place my parents took me to when I was young to catch sticklebacks and where I took my children. As with every place like this you must always be aware of others around you and be considerate to other people.

Fabulous summer walk today along the Nickey line, along with several other paths and tracks that I couldn't name! The surface was hard and dry, the scenery excellent and the weather extremely kind. Already planning our next trek here!

Within the Bridge's iconic structure and magnificent Victorian Engine rooms, the Tower Bridge Exhibition is the best way of exploring the most famous bridge in the world! Come learn about this incredible feat of Victorian engineering, discover how the Bridge is raised and enjoy stunning panoramic views across London from our high-level walkways, 42 metres above the River Thames. Opening Times: 09:30 - 17:00 (last admission )
For 10 quid you get a lot for your money. Super interesting museum and an opportunity to see a different side of Tower Bridge. It’s been done really well and whilst the glass floor is an interesting (and vertiginous) experience its really a side show to learning about the history and complexity of this iconic landmark. Be sure to watch the film in the engine room; fascinating.

One of only three bridges in the world lined with shops, this exquisite 18th-century bridge is one of the most admired structures in Bath.
For those who are familiar with the film Les Miserables in which Javert, played by Russell Crowe, jumped to his death, will be delighted to discover that the bridge of Javert's demise is actually located in Bath . It is, I suggest, best approached via the toe path along the river. As you round the bend the bridge springs into view. If you continue to the bridge, you can ascend the stairs and emerge on the bridge to discover a wide range of interesting shops and cafes. Well worth exploring, without the need to visit Paris.

Designed and built in 1836 by a young engineer, Isambard Kingdom Brunel, this 702-foot-long, 250-foot-high suspension bridge gracefully spans the Avon Gorge between Clifton and Leigh Woods.
An amazing feat of engineering crossing high above the stunning Avon Gorge which in itself is interesting as there is a wealth of rare fauna

The number of times we have seen this structure on TV has made it an iconic view of Newcastle. To see it first hand and stand underneath brings it home how huge and impressive it is. So well maintained

The bridge once held the world record as the longest single span suspension bridge for cars but it remains the longest in the world over which to walk or cycle. More than 100,000 vehicles use the bridge each week, travelling between East Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, with the majority using the HumberTAG electronic tolling system.
It really is surprising what there is to do at and around the Humber bridge, fab walks, beautiful scenery, fantastic park, the kids will have hrs of fun, rambling, climbing, biking, a great place to spend an hour or all day, take a picnic, have an ice cream along the river edge, stroll along the foreshore, you can even have a refreshing drink and great food at the country park inn.
