A smorgasbord of flavors come from this lofty land in the hilly southeast of Belgium: game, wild boar, venison, smoked ham, the region's famous paté and world-renowned Trappist beers. Primarily located in Belgium, the Ardennes mountains also nudge into France and Luxembourg. Dense forests flank the steep hillsides, and market towns and villages perch on river banks. Spring and summer show this lush area at its best, but cross country skiing opportunities make a good case for winter visits.

Our brewpub is open on Saturdays and Sundays (except annual closure in January), from 11AM to 18PM. Brewery tours are available on appointments. Possibility of small meals (local products, homemade soup, cakes, etc.) and beer tasting. Beautiful hikes begin and end at the Brewery.

Brasserie du Bocq, Set up in 1858 remains one of the last traditional Belgian Breweries. In the marvelous touristic area we called Condroz this dynamic company still uses the traditional manufacturing process of top-fermentation beers with secondary fermentation in bottle. Discover the brewery is also the pleasure to taste their beers. At the ende of the tour, enjoy a glass of one of the brewery's products in an exceptional surrounding, a free beer for each visitor!
We came to visit the brewery from Hungary, it was a very good experience :) We were especially delighted with the kindness of the girl who was taking us on the brewery tour. We tried every beers they had on tap. Recommend to go there with taxi because in belgium you can only drink 1 beer if you drive.

Had planned to visit three brewpubs in Liege, but never managed to drag myself away! Lucky to find a little table in the busy court yard/beer garden, set in a lovely historical building. Tasted 4 excellent beers of the 6 on offer, service was friendly and efficient with good knowledge of the beers and good English spoken by the staff! Got chatting to some other friendly folk, also there for the beer and eventually ordered some food and enjoyed the rest of the evening! Can't recommend this place enough!

The Humblet family was in search of a site to build a new brewery & continue their tradition and long list of beers brewed by their father, Benoit Humblet. In 2011, they discovered the farm of Bertinchamps, situated not far from Gembloux. Although extremely old and decayed, the farm had stunning character, situated in an environment that equals its prestige. It was time for some rejuvenation and the renovation project began immediately. Almost 2 years of remarkable work and finally in March 2013 the brewing system was installed in the old barns. Ultra modern fermentation tanks, a astonishing contrast of modern technology and the farm dating back more than 7 centuries.
Very nice place where we enjoyed nice food and excellent beer. We were very nicely welcomed by the owner who showed us the brewery. For sure we will go there again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our visit to Lupulus, in the middle of nowhere Belgium. As English-only speakers we knowingly signed up for a French/Dutch tour, but the amazing tour guide went out of her way to also provide English for us. The facility was amazingly clean and compact, and a terrific overview was provided on the history, branding, brewing process and production process. The tour lasted around 1.5 hours, including the tasting (2 pours), and guests were given a souvenir glass to take home.
