Book well in advance to reserve a spot on a tour or just drop in for a visit to the retail store anytime during regular hours.
My husband and I stopped in. I had a flight of beer and he had “I’d Tap That Pilsner”. (Cute name????) $4 each! All very good. Andre was a great host. Definitely worth the visit.

Crooked Mile Brewery is an amazing micro brewery/shop with hand crafted mostly Brit style beers and ales. A fun little place with ample parking, close proximity to a great fish chip wagon (when last we visited) and a happy atmosphere. Oh and did I forget the beer? Stellar. HIGHLY recommended.

Pretty straightforward place. A building full of brewing equipment and a small area in the front with tables and chairs to enjoy the fruits of their labour. An excellent selection of a wide range of beers, most of which is on tap, and they will let you taste. They offer a 4 beer taster, as well as pints, and sell their beer in 6, and 12’s, mix and match. Some stand outs were the Maple Ale, the Mocha Stout, and the Bonfire Black Lager. Also surprisingly good was an offering brewed in conjunction with a local restaurant that has oysters in the brew. Unique, but really nice. Definitely worth a visit.

Braumeister Brewing Co. is a Bavarian-inspired craft brewery with a taproom and garden. Offering a new experience for beer lovers in and around the Nation’s capital, Braumeister is the place to enjoy quality beer and quality conversation.
This is a great craft brewery in the heart of downtown Carleton Place. We grabbed a beer on the patio and then grabbed cans to go! Great selection of German and European beers, which is a nice change from most craft breweries. Everything we had was well made and easy to drink! You can get snack food at the brewery or bring your own food in! We would highly recommend this as a place to stop if you are in the area!

Weatherhead Brew Co. is located in the heart of Heritage Perth, along the Tay Canal, steps away from the downtown core. We offer a Tap Room with 100 seat capacity, Retail Beer Sales, Event Hosting, Tasting Tours, a seasonal patio, and more.
While in Perth we decided to quench our thirst with a quick visit to this lovely little brewery. We sat on the patio and enjoye a lovely flight of a variety of thier products Which led to the subsequent purchase of some takeaways. Located in the heart of downtown Perth along The Tay River you should make it a point to visit if you are in the area.

We met another couple for lunch. What a unique, fun and funky spot. You walk past the huge vats of beer brewing, past a great looking bar to seating at the back of brewery. The wall on the side was wide open to the gorgeous, sunny afternoon. We started with in house baked German style pretzels which came with a tasty cheese sauce and grainy Dijon. Three folks ordered pizza and I got the Club which came with a side of salsa and corn chips. I really enjoyed my club with thick, succulent, nicely seasoned chicken breast, arugula and chèvre spread. But then I tasted my husband’s Canadian Pizza. I would definitely order pizza next time. Thin crust, excellent sauce. The salads sound good, too! But the highlight of the luncheon was the flights of beer! For $7.50 we got four tastings: Front Porch (my fave!), K&P, Tje Bogie and Brown Cow. (Delicious! It rated of coffee with a bit of chocolate. Yum!) I purchased a growler of Front Porch and four cans of Brown Cow on our way out. Our server, Jessica, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, helpful and attentive. The couple with us are actually from Calabogie, but had never been. They, like we, will be back!

We really enjoy their beer, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. From some reviews I'd say if you want pizza, maybe a brewery isn't your first choice. The beer is very good, much better than just ok and certainly worth trying for yourself. And a general comment about checking opening hours for any business....go to the source, never trust Google.
