Looking for a casual, friendly hangout for a Saturday or Sunday afternoon? Fat Orange Cat Brew Company is so much fun. On a chilly fall day you can taste several fabulous brews while hanging around a fire pit or patio warmer; you will talk to all sorts of nice folks, some with kids, some with dogs. Bring a snack or a lunch while you choose your favorite beer. IPAs are always great, but the stouts are good too. We love this country, laid back setting for just hanging out with friends.

Tribus Beer Co. is Milford, Connecticut’s first brewery and taproom, offering an ever-evolving tap list, as well as guest taps, wines and ciders. The sprawling taproom and outdoor biergarten combined with a family (and pet) friendly atmosphere and staff makes Tribus Beer Co. the brewery destination in Connecticut. Perfect for friends, family or just grabbing a beer, Tribus Beer Co. also hosts weekly food trucks, exciting events and collaborations.
Kudos to Milford's native brewery. Amazing beers with great staff and atmosphere. Kid and pet friendly and place a great vibe that just makes you happy. There are so many breweries now but this one has a charm that is different, you just to go there and experience it, you will not be disappointed. Staff is great, Erin, Alexa, Jake and Isaac are so friendly and accommodating to everyone's needs. And did I mention the IPA's. Damn are so good. My favorite is Tank Space, Benji, I been juicing, Citra, Goodie bag to name a few.

Our first trip to Thomas Hooker Brewery was very pleasant. It was a quite Tuesday afternoon. Kudos to them for being open on a Tuesday, as not many are and it’s our only day kid free. We were greeted promptly by the bartender who was super friendly and knowledgeable of their beers. As always, we only order a flight. We are lightweights. Don’t judge us. We tried Tropical Storm, #NoFilter, Brewer’s Share and Chocolate Truffle Stout. Misty really loved the Tropical Storm and I love the Chocolate Truffle Stout. I also asked for a taste of the Thicc AF. It was amazing. The place is very clean and open. Lots of seating available for parties or individuals. We also got a little help from Ron (I hope) when we were being those annoying picture takers. He came over and let us get some shots and even took a few of us together. Super friendly guy! Thanks for that! To add to the allure, they also have a great menu. Many options from appetizers to pizza. We ate the BBQ Pulled Pork and Mac ‘n Cheese pizza. It was so good! I definitely recommend it. I would put this brewery on your list of great surprise breweries. We never know what to expect when we go, but we were pleasantly surprised by this one!

At Half Full Brewery we're passionate about dreams. Big Dreams. Like, build a brewery big. And we know firsthand, that when you're chasing down a dream, with a glass half full, you can't lose!
When I visited, no food was available so EAT before you go or bring a bulky snack. We ate and had the samplers before ordering our favorite choice of the day. The great thing about this place besides the BEER, was the staff. The encouraged us to visit the other Brewwery across town. We did! WORTH the trip to both if Beer is of interest.

Two Roads Brewing Company was founded in 2012 by four friends who dreamed for years of starting a craft brewery. We foster a “road less traveled” philosophy in the beers we make and how we make them. In that spirit, Phil Markowski, our award-winning Brewmaster and 27 year craft beer veteran has created an extensive lineup that takes a unique twist on classic beer styles. Two Roads was named one of the ten best breweries in America by Paste Magazine and has won many awards including gold for Belgian Lambic style Ale in 2016 at the Great American Beer Festival. Two Roads isn’t just the logo on our brewery building, it’s our philosophy. Life always seems to offer up two ways to go. It just so happens, we prefer the one less taken and having some fun along the way – in our lives, our careers and especially for our beers! Now our “road less traveled” philosophy is being brought to life in the beers that we create and how we create them.
We had been missing Two Roads during the lockdown, and have now been several times to the reservation only “hopyard” outdoor area. The staff are awesome, working hard to make a safe, clean and above all, FUN experience for their guests. Ice cold “Cruise Control” Helles lager is our favorite, and they keep us topped up, even when the place is hopping and busy. New way to enjoy the great beer and people of Two Roads. The hopyard is a lovely garden, and with nice weather it is a terrific spot to hang out. The taproom is now open again, and it was great to also have a pizza from “Pizzaco “, the cool pizza joint across the street, and a beer or two with the friendly, hardworking staff inside. It’s the best of the many great breweries in CT, owing to the many good beers they make, and the best employees in the business, they are a real team! Thanks everyone! See you soon!
