I think most of the really good restaurants in this wine region of Brazil are a bit outside the city centers, more in a rural setting. This place is different in that way. It is pretty much downtown Bento Goncalves. From the outside it does not look like much. Once you enter you find yourself in a wine shop, replete with the best wines this country has to offer. It is fun to just browse for a while if you are a wine aficionado. The restaurant is right adjacent to the wine shop/bar. The setting is unspectacular; more like a country type tavern. Yet, the service is very attentive. The food is plentiful and delicious. It is served "rodizio" style - you can eat as much as you want. They will keep serving you different cuts of meat, sausage, chicken etc. until you order them to stop coming back with their skewers. If you like two and a half hour long lunches, this is your place. Go for it!

The restaurant is in a very privileged place with a charming amenities and a breath taking outside landscape. The attendants are cordial and ready to bring to you all the fabulous dishes developed by chef Israel Santos.I decided to ask for a 5 times menu. All of the dishes available when I was there is in the picture you might find attached. I chose "Creme de abóbora" which was good. And then "Ragu de pinhão e charque" - which was very good. And the masterpiece "Canelone de alho poró com recheio de ragu de coelho com aipin".We managed to get the new chardonnay NUA by Via Una that turns the whole experience unforgettable.You might not get a table without a reservation. Enjoy it!

Great food, fresh veggies, meats, hors-d'oeuvres, ambience and friendly people. Soup with mini-tortellinis was amazing. I won't mind if there were a bit less salt on everything, but that's a personal preference. Thank you!

The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Dall'Onder Grand Hotel. It operates on a la carte menu with several options. We ordered three plates, one for each guest: a trout with bacon and potatoes, a risotto of pear and blue cheese and a steak with risotto milanese. Fomos jantar eu e meu esposo. O lugar é bem aconchegante, bem decorado, achei lindo. O detalhe do nome da reserva na rolha é bem legal. Só acho que fui com muita expectativa pelas avaliações e fotos. Mas não achei nada de mais na comida. Pedimos um filé mignon com molho de queijo e risoto o outro prato foi um entrecot com uns pães e uma mini provoleta, bem bonitos os pratos mas pelo valor deles deveria ser maior no meu gosto. O SUCO é ótimo. Valeu a experiência de conhecer mas não tenho vontade de voltar.

When reading the positive reviews from tripadvisor partners, maybe I may have created a higher expectation than I should have, which has generated some frustration. The place is nice, very well decorated and cozy. In fact the owner is present and visits all the tables and the service of the staff is very helpful. However, I expected more from the food ... in my case the meat spot came wrong (had ordered medium and came well done) and very dry; and the egg pouch came with the cooked egg instead of raw. Another thing is that they have a good wine list, but the wine cellar doesn't have a climatized environment.
