Just returned from a great day out Fishing at Raven's Nest. Not having fished before, and having four children in tow(8-14), I was sceptical about how successful this was going to be, but we left with us all having caught our first trout, and the kids begging to catch just one more! Russel and Nick were enthusiastic and very patient when showing us what to do; with much more seasoned fishers able to enjoy fly and rod fishing further upstream. The set up is professional but relaxed, in the most beautiful of settings. You can hire your own fire pit to cook your catch if you would like, but we were spoiled as ours were prepped and served for us; delicious! Thanks for a great day out; look forward to trying out the camping next time!

Lovely sandy beach. Spacious but not too big. Safe to swim in marked zone. Lifeguards on duty. We had no problem parking, just remember to take change for the ticket meter, and be aware if you have small kids that there is a road to cross between car park and beach. Toilet facilities and shop selling refreshments on site. Highly recommended for a simple enjoyable family beach day.

Beautiful beach......superb coastal scenery typical of Britain's first designated Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Gower. To access the beach on foot you do need to be reasonably fit.

Coastal walk was beautiful and highly recommend it, the views were breathtaking. Car parking is £6.00 for a full day, takes card and cash. Has a couple of small shops for ice creams / chips and a restaurant. Beach is quite rocky in parts but still fine for families etc to sit & play.

We decided to take our young grandchildren to the lake at Cosmeston Country Park to feed the ducks. There was onsite parking and a large lake surrounded by woodland, walks, grassed areas, a cafe and picnic spots. There were lots of birds residing on the water and the children enjoyed feeding the swans and ducks, before enjoying a picnic. After eating, the children spent a few hours on the swings. The entire parkland was immaculate.

1st time for us to visit the lakes. It as lovely walks, we enjoyed it so much we returned the next morning with our granddaughter to feed the ducks. Its about a 1/3 of a mile around the first lake, with good paths. Well worth a visit.

Had a lovely walk here yesterday. We parked at the road resource centre which is further away so we could enjoy a longer walk. We walked through a woodland area and then over the road to the lake. It’s a lovely stroll around the lake and there were plenty of people also enjoying the dry weather. Plenty of swans, ducks and geese around and on the lake. unfortunately the shop was shut before we finished walking around to it but I’m sure during the warmer months it is jam packed. The walk to our car park and back totalled 3 miles so a longer route if that’s what you’re after.
