Such a beautiful fresh water lake, only the depth changes the colour, so turquoise in the shallows. Try cleaning your jewellery in the sand. I have cleaned my watch and watch face many times, that tells you how soft the sand is. So pure.

We did an Ocean Rafting (fantastic!) tour which included the walk up to Hill Inlet Lookout! WOW ???? The view is absolutely out of this world!! Don’t think you could get a better ‘beach’ view anywhere in the world!! It’s a relatively easy walk (even got toilets there)!! No filter required!!! Sublime!!

I just spent a week at "the beachhouse" in Arthur Bay on Magnetic Island how good is this spot. The Beachhouse is available through "best of magnetic" The place is fantastic it's the only house in the bay so you have the place to yourself people do come down to the beach but generally by 4-30 / 5 o'clock you have the whole place to yourself. There is nothing better than being the first person to leave your footprints on the beach at sunrise. The kookaburras are super friendly you can hear the Wallabies at night and a heap of other birds and butterflies while you're sitting on the balcony. I highly recommend this place for groups or families that want to indulge them selves having the swimming pool at the front of the house is just an added bonus if you can't be bothered walking the hundred steps to the beach. There are canoes and paddleboard's supplied with the house and going out in the paddleboard on sunrise is a spectacular way to start the day.had a couple of great barbecues around the pool and had some champagne breakfasts on the balcony. At the turn off to at the bay is the fort walks we get to see koalas in the trees during your walk. Can't recommend this place enough.

The Brisbane River is perfect for adventure, leisure and recreation. Go kayaking, stand up paddleboarding or take a trip on a City Cat. Celebrate the Brisbane River at a Riverfire function or just have a picnic in the riverside parkland. The Kangaroo Point Cliffs are a great vantage point to see the Brisbane River, or go rock climbing or abseiling with Riverlife Adventure Centre. Try Story Bridge Adventure climb, cycle, rollerblade or go for a jog. Dance with the local aboriginal tribe, Mirrabooka or visit South Bank. However you look at it you can't visit Brisbane without experiencing the River. Then cruise out to Tangalooma Island Resort for a must do experience. Enjoy!
The Brisbane river is enjoyable both by boat and if time allows, there is an amazing path that runs along its banks...nature, cafes, restaurants, exercise, relax...the river offers something for everyone. Clean public bathrooms.

Beautiful lake, like a hidden treasure. We stayed in Peregian Beach, at Lake Weyba Noosa Lodge. Lots of kangaroos, cockatoos while taking a walk to Lake Weyba. Very shallow, clear, warm water; it feels like a big bathtub! Our accommodation provided a two-person canoe and two kayaks for free. There is a hidden creek, hard to describe, like a real-life wald-Disney experience, really serene and beautiful. What makes this also special that there are almost no other people because of minimal access. Highly recommend staying at the lodge and get back to nature.

We visited Lake Paluma on a very cloudy day and was surrounded and in clouds for most of the climb up to the Lake. It was lovely to see the different scenery on route. When we got to the Lake it was beautiful and clear and a lovely clean and quiet place. We had a lovely picnic and took in the wonderful scenery. Everything was very clean and very well maintained.

This water was magical at Upper Stones Creek in the Byfield National Park so blue and fresh! Great place for a picnic and a nice small walk is there, the longer circuit was closed so hopefully it opens again in the future. Great place to go! “Jonique Life” Follow our journey around Australia on Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and YouTube as we highlight wonderful experiences and magical places you can add to your ever growing bucket list.
