Welcome to Taie Fa’ahe’e Surf School Tahiti ! Our surf school was created in 2013 by Julien Miremont. Former international bodyboard champion and qualified surfing instructor (French certificate in sport instruction and sport education in surfing). For many years, he taught in other surf schools before creating his own. With his own school, he is now able to pass on his knowledge and share his love for the ocean. In our school, you can start or improve your surf, bodyboard or stand-up paddle board skills safely and always in a relaxed atmosphere. Diving with Sharks is magic and specially with the Tiger Shark. The diving center Api Dive Tahiti propose to you the « Tiger Shark Dive in Tahiti ». Nicolas BILLY, the owner, was the first to do this activity since May 2011. He knows and can recognize approximately 30 Tiger Sharks. The dive is easy, very secure and possible for the Open Water divers. Maximum depth is 20 meters (60 feet) and the duration is about one hour. A guide is in charge of the animals and the divers have their own dive master. We accept only 08 divers maximum. During the immersion, you can see usually 6 species of sharks ! White Tip from the lagoon, black tip, grey, lemon, nurse and the Tiger. Also, many fishes will surrounding you in a clear and warm water. Welcome to Tahiti ! French Polynesia is considered by divers as an African Safari of the sea… The best period is all year except middle January to end of February (raining season and sea turtle reproduction). Water temperature is all year 26-27°C.
